Why there is a comparison, even the mention of the movie the movie'prem rog'. I m simply don't understand. Not only are the fans/viewers comparing BUT the media too. I was astounded by the act of sbb , they showed prem rog' movie stills too just want to say that there is no COMPARISON even of ikrs' to the above movie. Only and only the point of wodow-remarriege is talked about in both.
The biggest difference is the character of biplav to regards to R.K, in prem rog. Biplav is a spoilt, carefree, Richie-rich grandson of a mahant AND Mr. Kapoor played a role of young and poor orphan boy.biplav runs after the girl but Mr. Kapoor only loved padmini from the childhood. The biggest that biplsv meets bjaani when he is on the verge of leaving India forever.
Madam Padimi, the character of manorama, was a young chirpy girl till she gets widowed. BUT the dhaani, even before meeting biplav get widowed. Mr. Rk was poor and here in ikrs the main villain is the grandfather of male lead. And in the movie, the villain was from the family of the girl. Dhanni, as I felt, is shown poor, but the manarora in the movie is rich.
So to conclude there is no sense, of comparison. ikrs' I s whole new show.
