Just now saw on zoom that gautam is not quitting SC and they are planning to bring back
Saras mother so I don't think mishal will be part of the show now.

I cannot be the only one who is relieved.

I mean good on Mishal, he has every right to go ahead and pursue whatever role takes his fancy, be it huge, small, weird or fascinating. That is his prerogative.

But I can't help but wonder, if SC was just in his eyes an opportunity to make connections-we all know his ultimate goal and ambition, I just feel he saw this as a prime opportunity to get his proverbial foot through the door.

I dunno. That's just me. It's tough coming into a show that has a vast fan following, especially when there is some sort of whiff in the air that your character may have a thing or two to do with the titular couple. Nobody likes a third wheel. Especially not when the couple is your OTP.

Well either, here's hoping him further success. Regardless of what he does (does not) take up, there are people who will follow and watch him always :)

For me, it was always a mixed feelings about MR joining SC. I was curious about the role he actually liked and i admit i personally wanted him doing it. But since Gautam is not quitting, so there is no point of introducing new character. and clearly he is out of the picture. and thats not that bad. He himself is excited about the telefilms and in the interview given, he expressed negativeness toward working in daily soaps. It is possible that he finally said "No" to the offer. Liking a role doesn't mean he was dying to do that.

Above all, I am happy for SC fans. It is good that the PH actually listened to them. 👏 We all are very familiar with the pain that is caused when your favorite actor is forced to quit and all of a sudden the place becomes a nightmare. I m glad they didn't need to go through that. No matter how dead the current track is but it is their favorite place and they have every right to see their actors/actresses till the end of the show. The show must end with them, not with some new faces. The fans will bash the track, the storyline, the director but at the end of the day, they're happy and that matters the most. It is unfortunate that in spite of all our strong efforts, we were unable to alter the destruction in 2011. Anyways, thats the past. 😃

Opportunites will come for Mishal. He just needs to take the right decision. Like hammie said, Mishal will emerge one of these days. 👏😃

One of the SC fans did post a few days back. The show might end in September and hence they didnt see a point in getting another lead. I am glad it didnt work out. Mishal deserves much better. I hope something works out soon which satisfies him and us.
