Naku & Baji
The episode picks up from the point where the police inspector confronts Naku and Baji and gives Dutta's wife a mouthful about her husband's misdeeds.. so you want the help of the law to find your husband... your husband was a law unto himself! and today you turn up here and ask the police dept.to intervene.. whatever is happening today in Patil Wadi, your husband a criminal is responsible for that! and you have the misconception that the police will work for him? we are not your husband's employees!.. Naku replies calmly, Sahib you said yourself that this place is here to maintain law and order..where people can hope to get justice.. that's why I have come here.. please find my husband for me.. and also those who wronged him... that'll be a great help. pleads Naku. the inspector nods ,but when Baji tries to say something .. he gets put back in his place. .now tell me why I shouldn't arrest both of you for inciting people in this area? why shouldn't I arrest the pair of you seeing that you are the two key people of this so called messiah of Patil Wadi ..Naku retorts, here I am treating you with respect, and you are going on against my husband! if the locals consider him as their saviour , what fault is that of his? you people don't do justice for them ,that's why they have to come to my husband with their problems! Now if you want to stir the people in this area against yourself.. then do so! if a finger is raised towards my husband's house.. then this station too will be burned down to ashes. The inspector says, are you threatening a police inspector? on whose backing ? him that is dead! Naku shouts back with conviction, my husband is alive! Dutta shriram Patil is alive! and if you say otherwise to the people of Patil Wadi, then there will be blood shed here! all I said was write my complaint! help me! that's all...the inspector replies, I know exactly what to do and what not, you don't try to teach me! Baji tells Naku to leave ,and the inspector tells him off for showing attitude.. you both scram from here! before I arrest you both for interfering with police proceedings! out! ..
Patil Nivas
With heads hung low Baji and Naku return home. Kala lies in wait for them.. there is exchange of venomous looks from Kala to both Baji and Naku...she taunts, I hope you have had your heart's content! That police,which locals disregarded and came here instead to Dutta Bhau for justice.. you had the nerve to go that police and lodge a complaint about Dutta Bhau? tell me vahini did you find solace in humiliating Dutta Bhau? and you Baji you should have had the sense that Dutta Bhau's family does not seek help from the police! now that police which never dared to enter the boundaries of our house, will come and interrogate the whole family including Aye Sahib! brilliant Nakusha! you all done us all a huge favour! and you Baji before taking this step , did you not think it appropriate to consult the rest ? or have you taken upon yourself that in Bhau's absence you'll take all the decisions? Or will you be the one in charge vahini? Kala grills both Baji and Naku. Kala throws in the new dart... Baji you said before that someone close to Bhau orchestrated his attack? think how the villagers will react if they suspect any on us? for the accident , vahini seems to have lost the plot , but at least you should have shown some wisdom! and now you tell me vahini, whom do you suspect? just say the name and we'll drag that person to your feet.. you have faith that he is alive, well then we'll look for him both high and low! and if he is l alive , then it's my responsibility to bring him back! please don't create disunity in the family during this time of crisis! stand together as one! I beg both of you! to withdraw , whatever compliant you have filed in the police station.. Baji a bit shaken confesses , that we did go the police station , but the
sergeant refused to record our complaint.. this does baffle Kala and she wonders why? Naku disgusted by Kala's deceitful
manner.. simply walks off! and so does Baji ..
Naku in Dutta's den
Nimbly Naku climbs Dutta's wooden steps towards his room.. she has FBs, of the harsh words of the police inspector for her Saab.. she recalls, the irate reaction Kala gave her due to her visit to the station.. that she was perhaps trying into step into Dutta's shoes.. the song of yeh honsla...
plays on, as she enters his room shrouded in ,light and shadows.. on the floor she sees his large framed photo with smashed glass on his face ..the song of determination , of not losing faith plays on, as she moves further into the room and bends to collect the sharp pieces of glass.. eventually she hangs his picture on the wall where it was before.. the songs gives her strength , "so what if the path is strewn with tears and difficult to travel.. you'll get there in the end.. don't give up, keep walking ,on thorns and in darkness.. it will all pass, your determination and courage will see you through.. dawn will come through" Naku moves slowly to his bedside where his picture in his white kurta stands.. she lifts it up and thinks.. on the words of the song.. "this determination will not fade .. my want for you flows" she holds his picture close to her heart.. and muses.. I know Saab that you have many enemies in this house.. I need your strength to fight them ..my heart cries out that you are alive! I will surely come for you! Naku says to his picture.. she sinks to the floor with his small picture still in her hands and has a FBs.. of the moments spent with him, he puts on the mangalsutra on her..feeding him a morsel in his room, receiving his waist coat around her shoulders on the hilltop.. the staring into each other's eyes in silence on the hilltop..Naku clutches his bedside photo to her heart..
Kala & Sudarshan
Sudarshan as usual protests against Naku .. you saw that Naku's drama! I tell you Tai she is the biggest thorn in our side! today she traipsed off to the police tomorrow god knows where she turn up! we cannot trust her at all.. if we want to live in peace then it's essential this Naku needs to be taken care off! Kala warns him.. don't be mad Sudarshan! don't even think about it.. he says, it's not insanity.. this is the only sane way out, to kill her too! and not just her, kill Baji too! shouts Sudarshan and Kala warns him, till the people of Patil Wadi don't believe that Dutta is dead! dont you dare touch Nakusha! Sudarshan says ,yes, it's time to save our skin.. besides I have given orders to a sharp shooter for her contractual killing ! now Naku can be side her Saab! Kala goes mad. who did you ask ? before taking this decision? did I tell you? your brain does not function! If anything happens to her the whole of Patil Wadi will be set alight! stop that contractual killer right now! and in future don't do anything without consulting me.. orders Kala.
Wounded lion returns!
Somewhere unknown.. a storm brews. A shadow carrying a brief case, bathed in the blue light of dusk ,walks down a corridor.. stops at a closed door and pulls it open.. inside the room, a servant greets him and points to the frame of a man dressed in black on a large bed lying injured on the bed.. both arms wounded and by his sides.. his face is blocked from both sides by single rose tinted glass upright bedside lamps.. the man with the briefcase, a doctor, moves to the figure on the bed and looks down at him.. and sits beside him.. the doctor looks at the mans arms one of them has a red thread and a wedding ring.. the doctor lifts the figures arm and feels his pulse.. it beats.. ,the doctor while the servant watches, fills up a syringe and holds it up.. and then slowly removes the piece of blood stained cloth around the man's head, throws it aside. The doctor uses, antiseptic swabs to cleanse the wounds in the injured man's head.. the doctor turns to the servant, his wounds are deep.. hold him tightly as I swab his wounds.. it will hurt him a lot...the servant grabs the patients legs together, above the ankles ..the doctors swabs the man's forehead.. then he applies cotton wool and puts a gauze bandage around the circumference of the injured man's head.. finally one last swab makes the man jerk and sit up on the bed with a roar ..Nakuuu! arghhh bas ab aur nehin! it's Dutta!
Dutta's den
Naku still on the floor propped up against his bed..with his picture in her hand lays asleep.. Naku sleeps.. ... Naku wakes up! she hears his voice AHHHRHHH SOMEWHERE..
Naku jumps to her feet.. episode ends Hamlet53~ 23.8.14..
Kala' tirade at Baji and Naku is only to find out what they have reported at the station.. I did wonder if the police sergeant was speaking words prompted by Kala?
Naku is made to feel that perhaps she went against the policies of her husband by lodging a compliant with the police.. or was Kala trying to save her own skin?
Kala now has a fresh problem. Will Dutta's people now rally around Nakusha and back her in seeking out Dutta? which means Kala's truth will be exposed..
LTL Written Update

Dutta screams in pain, enough no more!.. Naku stands nonplussed, she can swear she heard him calling for her.. yelling, ahhh ..
Dutta eventually falls back on his pillow. Naku asks,Saab where are you? I heard your voice and I know you are alive!
Dutta ..somewhere
Dutta yells due to unbearable pain.. the doctor says to the servant, even in a state of unconsciousness he feels so much pain. He has a deep head injury. It appears he has fallen from a great altitude.. for the minute I have cleaned his wounds and bandaged his head, but he does need further treatment. When he comes around only then it can be assessed if he has received any internal injuries..any one else in his place,may have died. The doctor gives Dutta another injection..
Naku in Dutta's den
Naku is restless in his room back at Patil Nivas ,she cries, my heart tells me nothing has happened to you.. I will surely find you! and come to you!
Dutta ..somewhere
The doctor gives Dutta's wounds on his arm's, a minor cleaning.. and then tries to yank out the bullet lodged in his shoulder! Dutta's fingers slowly grab the counterpane. And as the bullet is pulled out of his flesh he gives another loud roar.. arghhh!
Naku prays before Bappa in his room.. Bappa.. in this house only me and Aye Sahib have faith that Saab lives.. you gave me a message that he is not alive.. but my heart does not accept this. I heard his voice! and I can feel that he is nearby. If he is not in this house or before me.. what does it matter? whether you Bappa ,help me or not.. but I will only worship you when my Saab returns.
Dutta, somewhere
In the room where Dutta lies.. an old man enters.. who then turns to the doctor.. how is he doctor? the doctor says , he's fine for the moment.. but if it was any later, he wouldn't have survived. The old man replies, that's why I brought him home straightaway! had I taken him elsewhere, he would have lost his life. The doctor asks, who is he?. the old man replies,. How would I know doctor? it was god's will that his life be spared! So he lives ..seems he has the blessings of the gods. I was just passing by the Ratn giri highway.. that's where I found him!he was lying unconscious on the road! there was not a soul around, single handedly I lifted him and brought him here to Shree Ramagar!look what I found in his pocket, this handkerchief and this locket. It probably protected him.. anyway a human being has to help another human being ! isn't that right? smiled the old man. the doctor says, yes that's true , but it's only when he is conscious that we can find out about the man and his whereabouts.. I am leaving now, should you.. need me that you can call me back..and the old man pays him,and the doctor leaves..
The old man turns to a bandaged and unconscious Dutta and jokes.. hey who are you? at least tell me something about your self ? hey I didn't save you! the gods did.. another man comes in and shouts, reemu kaka whenever one hears him, he talks about guns and bullets. He acts as we are all his servants.. Dutta hears.. but is unconscious.. the man continues, he said come now.. and the old man replies ,wait a minute... let me talk to him.. but if he has a fist full of money, then we will have to dance! but the real dance of life only the almighty makes us do.. you look after him in my absence, god has granted him life.. and he will decide what happens to him. you be around him ,in case he comes around.
Patil Nivas
Baji briefs the BG , no one should get the message that just because Bhau is not around, hence we are showing signs of weakness .. everything should carry out as before and on time! we cannot tarnish Bhau's good name.. Naku comes and tells Baji Dutta is alive and that she heard him call for her.. Baji and BG can see that Naku due to the the incident may have lost her marbles. She wants Baji to help her look for Dutta.
Kaley comes home and says.. there's a huge problem as the people of Patil Wadi have surrounded the police station! Kala arrives just on time on the main stair way and overhears kaley.. kaley says, the inspector has no respect for Bhau, and the people are furious with him as he is saying to the people , he'll shoot to kill. Naku is alarmed, and tells Baji to come with her.. Kala burns inside to see Naku being proactive again. Baji tells kaley to be in charge of security at home ..
Naku and Baji leave.. but Kala wouldn't be left behind..
Police station
Villagers of Patil Wadi yell militantly at the police inspector who blocks the entrance to the station. People demand for the murderer of Dutta Bhau! hand him over we'll not spare him! the men carry sticks and sickles in their hands which they brandish dangerously. One of the constables, calls out to the crowd ,not to take the law in their hands. people insist Dutta be called Bhau for them he was like a god. the inspector says, it seems they live in fear of Dutta Bhau if they don't move he will have to give orders of shoot to kill.. they defiantly march forward and defy the police to go ahead and shoot. Baji and Naku arrive , so do Kala and Sudarshan..
Sudarhsan tries to pacify the crowd. People ignore him and carry on marching towards the building.. the police inspector gives orders to shoot.! at the villagers . In the nick of time Naku steps in and saves the day by saying and assuring them her husband is alive. and the search for him is on! all the villagers lower their sticks etc.. and Naku goes off.. Baji calls her and she turns to see the villagers come to her.. in fact many say , count them in the search as well .
One old man blesses her and vows to give her support and says may her husband be alive.. and return to her. The policeinspector comes over too, and thanks Naku for saving the day and that she prevented a serious incident from happening, and that she behaved like a responsible citizen. He assures her that the police will help her to look for her husband in every possible way.. Naku joins her palms and raises them up in true Dutta style and the villagers in respect bow their heads before her... Kala's face fills up with anger .. as Naku says to Baji , let's go Baji look for Saab.. episode ends , Hamlet53 23,8,14..
Naku it seems has assumed the role that Kala dreaded.. replacement Bhau of Patil Wadi .. poor Chaskar..
