Aloha amigo ;)
"How you doing?" <not done that in a while ey? :p man I didn't realise just hoe much I missed our 'ridiculously' long comments lol! We'd discuss everything under the sun,and then some!
Yeah I'm kinda just stalling because even though I've had the whole night and day to compose myself, I'm still not ready to say goodbye to this little world you perfectly created for us!
First things first! Thank you for the update reminders, they always left me excitement and tingling, itching to read the chapter and comment. And when I received the last pm,my heart sank. At first I was excited as usual but then it sank when it hit me this was going to be the last time. But that's not a complaint I anything while we will all miss your writing "heaps" we and especially I want to thank you for taking the time, putting the effort in and beautifully presenting to us a story that shall stay with us for a long time. True to the namesakes like Tasha years later remain in our hearts so shall this story! Thank you. Here's hoping that whenever you decide to write again you will share it with us!!!! Ya know because my fellow "homo sapien" your forte lies in writing. So in true Ross style I shall take this leave to be a 'sabbatical' you're totally "ON A BREAK!!!"
Now the chapter. Where do I begin? I suppose the starts a good place?
Finally Nakus cast is off. Hallelujah! I've never broken a bone in my body but for someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in and out of hospital I can truly empathise with that 'aaah' moment when she got her arm back. Honestly something as simple as the use of one of your limbs can be such a blessing!
Of course Dutta was there with her, I'm surprised he didn't insist (of course in his bhau style) to sit in while her cast was removed-of course he may have done and much to his chagrin the doctor may have told him otherwise, if so I like to believe Dutta had many colourful things to say about the doc ;)
Their sanctuary!!!! Yes yes yes I'm so glad you used it as a setting here. Clearly it became a pivotal place for them both and I'm pleased to see it be such a prop that united and connected the two. Lol at how Dutta helped her up too ;) that must be the best part for him all the 'un'necessary touching lol
And then you tugged at my heartstrings. Dutta you cutie pie you sweet pea you big giant softie! (Yes I said that about don Dutta and yes tis I naila-notoriously known for being about as romantic as a wooden plank but I have to say it was the gesture that spoke volumes.) This is probably the most a person has ever done for Naku and it shows. Everything was perfect, his thought, his plan m, her reaction his remarks. All of it. More than romantic I think on a deeper emotional level it was the act that Dutta actually practiced what he preaches ie that Naku means the world to him and more than that is important. That for me was sweeter than all the intimate moments. It was the final nail in the coffin so as to speak. Here we see Soulmates taking romance out it was the raw emotion that drew me. Honestly I don't even think I can express how much I loved that.
It was the perfect way to end it. Of course greedy me wants an epilogue and little tidbits of what shape their future life would take (nude nudge wink wink) but I'm happy with the place the story ended. It came full circle. To quote your work itself: Everything was backwards for them, marriage, then love then proposal but it worked!!!! Aaah beautiful.
Daya I could go on forever and I prob will on facebook and whatsapp but for now this shall suffice? Either way I cannot thank you enough. Writing takes a lot of time and effort especially stories as opposed to one shots it can be difficult to balance it all, but you've done well. :)
Here's hoping to see you writing on IF soon be iy in any capacity! Over and out,
Yours,
Watson!
