Episode ~17

Naku's home
The episode picks up from the point when Morey, confirms to Babi that he has brought her daughter back safely from the shipping spree. He is in a mood to bond with the rest of Naku's family so he, lewdly rubs Naku's shoulder for her mother to see and suggests, Nakusha ji are'nt you going to show your aye what we have bought, come on lets go in and check out the items as one family. Once he enters the house ,he announces, lets sit down and take it a look , aree aye you sit down comfortably, we'll show you what me and Nakusha ji have bought. He pulls out a box, opens it to show Babi, take a look at this red sari, this is for Nakusha ji, how do you think she'll look in it,.. its nice isn't ? and aye there's one for you too, but I have something special for you , for my aye.. he opens a red jewellery box and flips it open , look its a nose ring .here take it aye! its for you, its made of real gold ! aye put it on, Morey insists to a bashful Babi, please aye show me! try it..Babi , takes out the existing nose stud and puts on Morey's gift.. Morey lewdly says wow you look great aye! , now when this nose ring sways on your face, your husbands heart too will sway in delight Naku listens to his frivolous comments quietly, and looks at mothers unsmiling face.
In comes Sethji and Morey greets him, hey come quickly! and now this special present for choota chetan a mobile phone! An elated Sethji accepts , thanku sahab, Morey tells him ,at the moment it only has my number, but once you have a grilfriend we'll add her number in there ! Babi watches and thinks how this man is buying us with expensive gifts... once the presents were distributed, Morey says to Babi full of respect, I'll leave now aye have to go to work.. and he says his byes to all lastly to Ganpat in a most congenial manner , Babba, and Ganpt responds with a big smile and Morey departs. Excited Sethji checks out his mobile, hey aye what a great present sahab has given ,its cool! Ganpat turns to Babi who still wears the nose ring and with a smile says ,Babi you look nice.. an upset Babi takes it out of her nose and presses it beside her on the bed she sits upon. Ganpat looks alarmed at her action and she gives him a saddened hurt look.. and Naku too feels her mothers helplessness.
Out in the traffic a smug Morey is driven in his police car by Kadam, ayee come on give me the betel chew!, oh well done! you've got one prepared already! which he pops in his mouth and begins to enjoy, and lapses into song,"tum jo mil gaye ho tu",till his phone rings, oh great now I've got him. He answers, yeah Ismial bhai! to get your attention I have to send my man, what no no!you trying to take me for a ride? you very busy are you? ok forget it don't give me your nonsense, now there's an emergency! thing is I am getting engaged tomorrow, yeah!and very soon I'll be getting married too!now you have to sew the brides outfits, blouse, petticoat ,whatever!, he laughs roguishly , now If you ask me I have had no time to find out her measurements! tell you what! I'll ring your would be SIL, and you go down and take note of her measurements! and listen up! the brides clothes should be super remember that! ok that's all now. Morey ends the call..

Naku's Home
Naku sits silently on the bed with her back against the wall, while her brother checks his phone. The phone rings in the small shack, and all look up, and Babi chides him, you've already distributed your number in the basti already? and he denies, aye have I been out?. Keenly he checks who it is and the callers name comes up , Morey!, its Morey sahab, he informs Naku and Babi .. the phone continues to ring and Sethji in style answers,hello!. Morey replies, helloo nanna munna rahi hoon! is it my BIL?. Sethji replies, yeah!.Morey requests, hey bro' any chance of talking to Naku? and Sethji says, yeah.. and then passes the phone to Naku, tai!here take it! it's for you..Babi looks on distastefully and Naku looks on blankly, then after some thought she takes the mobile, and moves in front of the window away from the rest of the family. Babi sits holding her head, preoccupied with the what next? element..as her daughter receives Morey's call.

Phone conversation
Morey lay back on the bonnet of his police car amid the darkness of nightfall. Naku says, hello, and Morey replies in a slimy voice, helloo! helloo! helloo ... Naku ji!how are you?did you try on that sari? areee, I never doubted that you would look anything but stunning! if you ask me Naku ji, what my heart really says is to get married to you tomorrow.. what does your heart say?..Naku stands silently, the mobile pressed against her ear. Morey waits, and asks softly, aree, say something Naku ji?.. go on say something.Naku, glances side ways.. and then says her famous lines...main kya bolon?.Morey smitten echos her ,main kya bolonnn!ahhh! Nakusha ji.. step out of the house and look at the moon up in the sky..the moon tonight looks beautiful, but nothing compared to your beauty Nakusha ji!, Naku ji you know what I feel like doing after seeing the moon tonight?, he begins to recite poetry... Oh moon! oh moon! I wish to scratch you out of the skies with my finger nails and hold you in my palm, to kiss you, to love you! oh moon! oh moon! want to capture you in my home where only I can only see you.. if another dares to look upon you! I'd gouge his eyes out! oh moon! oh moon!.. so Nakusha ji, what do you think? say something! Naku ji.. Naku ji.. he calls out to her in a husky voice...Naku weeps silently.. and moves the phone from her ear. Morey, on the other hand realizes she has gone, and switches the phone off..

Basti
The day of the engagement arrives. In the bride's house hold, friends and neighbours are about the family. Ganpats mate comments, the girl has good fortune, and along with her you too have struck a jack pot!. Ganpat laughs heartily. Babi all dressed up , fixes her sons out fit.. one of her neighbours comments, I love your nose ring, did Ganpat get it for you?.Babi ignores the remark, and Ganpat replies, how can I get that for her, its all Bappa's blessings! Jaaa Ganpati bappa! he chants and then adds now lets sweeten our mouths! and he offers some sweets to Babi, who in turn gives him a stay clear of me glare!. A worried Ganpat retracts..and turns to his mate, here you have some sweet, the hour to whet our throats will come later. Kaidu , Mangla's husband comes in and says, hey Ganpat all the floral decorations have been completed , if there's any work left to be done then let me know while there's still time.Ganpat, replies , fine , now there's only one thing that needs to be done! pop open a bottle!, and Kaidu laughs ,you'll never change! and Ganpat gets up and calls his mate's lets go out side then!. and the men leave, as the women are left and Babi looks at Mangla, helplessly.
A decorated prestige car arrives in the basti and stops before Naku's house. The car door is opened by Kadam, and out steps, Morey, dressed in a blue sherwani. He calls out loudly, listen up every one! today is Malmal Morey's engagement! don't fret! no work! only eating! drinking! and dancing!. There is a loud cheer!as Morey approaches Ganpat, areee Ganpat seth there you are! why so low? today your daughter is getting engaged , here this is for you! and he hands him a bottle of imported liquor! now enjoy and let's have you dancing now! and he moves over to the hired musicians, and offers them money, oyee Michal Jackson! lot! what are you here for?, they reply, to play music, and he replies, than what are you waiting for start the celebrations! Morey dances and struts, showering money! Ganpat guzzles down booze, and the men folk of the basti join to the tapping beats of the drums!
Morey makes his way to the stage, set up on a dias with two red upholstered high chairs, against the back drop of the blue shimmering ocean.. he sits on one of them like a king and calls out to the dancing crowd before him keep dancing! as he himself does the hankie dance from his chair..
Accompanied by the clash of the cymbals the bride dressed in a red sari is brought towards the stage held by her mother and Mangla on either sides. Morey goes oyeee.. and suddenly stops to take his ray bans off as he sees Naku dressed as his would be bride..the local loafers too are shocked and one of them says, wow look at her! she looks stunning! The other, the guy who proposed to Naku after losing a bet.. shuts his mate.. be quiet if Morey gets to hear what you are saying he'll yank your eyes out and place them on your palm! come on carrying on dancing..
Morey watches and waits for the bride to be brought to the stage. Naku most unhappy looks at her mother , who glares across to Morey on the stage, and gradually unwillingly, Babi moves with her daughter towards the stage.
The music changes to robust beats and Morey stands on his feet and leans back a bit and starts to give jerky pulsating moves with his shoulders singing.. ale re! ale my Naku here she comes!.. hayeee hayeee me dead! he says as she sits on her chair. He leans towards her and sighs ,Naku ji! Naku ji and feels her cheek, you look out of this world..hayee! you know Morey has kept a surprise item for you! ..Babi looks at him in disgust..and he gets closer to her daughter at every opportunity...
Morey than shouts lecherously.. hey barkha rani! shower us with your moves then! music starts for the famous item song.. as Sambahvna seth performs a lavni dance.. [ hum ko aaj kal hai intezaar koi aye[ mishal/dutta] le ke pyar..

Morey goes hyper! and gets all touchy feely with Naku, kisses her hand ,her arms, to her and Babi's annoyance.. finally he jumps to the ground and joins in the rhythmic movements of the dance showering monies on the dancer.. pulling her towards him. Then he runs back to the stage and forces Naku to dance with him amongst the crowd.. Morey also shouts for Ganpat to join in the dance. Babi is disgusted by the complete spectacle and wants to retrieve her daughter.. but Mangla stops her, look you stay here, I'll go and bring Naku back here, and she does.. Babi sits her flustered daughter back on the chair, and Morey too comes running back and literally falls over Naku one more time... aree Naku ji! you've made me so happy today! when you danced my heart turned into a fully loaded revolver! Enjoyable! mind you barkha rani! you are no less either wow wow!, and he grabs Nakus hand and kisses it passionately full of lust..Babi presses on her pallu, filled with revulsion, at his cheap carnal talk and libidinous action.
Mangla understands her plight and consoles Babi , don't worry Ganpati Bapaa will make good every thing.. Babi looks at her neighbour in disbelief..Ganpati?.. and she suddenly leaves the stage.. at the height of celebrations, leaving Mangla besides Naku on the stage.. as Morey watches Babi leaves he takes full advantage of the situation, and grabs Naku's hand forcibly, sinks to his knee and starts kissing it vulgarly..
He is suddenly approached by one of his men , who leans and whispers in his ear..there's a problem sahab.. Morey replies what is it tell me clearly? The guy whispers the details. Morey is irate , jack ass! bloody useless you all are.. he looks at Naku , but on second thought decides to leave with the informer.. lets go! and Morey leaves his engagement..

Naku's Home
Babi stands before bappa's idol at home , and sarcastically complains to him, I have observed many fasts for you! on different auspicious days, but you lot! do you value how we feel as humans? there Mangla believes ,that Ganpati will put right every wrong.. but I ask you Bappa..cant you see ? me! my kids! we would starve, but parsad was put before you without fail! only once while I put flowers in my hair, but never fail to make flower offerings to you! day in and day out I begged you to save my Naku! but did you bother? no you didn't! you are not worried about the plight of the poor!.. so now you need to leave! Babi cannot let you stay in her house any more.. go! any where ! go to the temple! any where! she cries! As she reaches out for his small idol and cries out in anger, Babi's house has no room for you Bappa! and she clutches the idol and leaves the house.. weeping..
She comes out of her home, back to beats of the drums and celebrations. She sees her husband drinking and dancing. She looks down at the Ganpat idol, holds it close to her belly and weaves her way out of the noisy dancing crowd.
Morey's voice sounds, you lot , you can't do any thing properly where is she now?.. he walks with two men towards a derelict site..
Babi too makes her way forward ,through the empty street away from her home, continuing her complain to Bappa, you didn't do right ! so now you won't stay in my house! you destroyed my daughters life you didn't act right! despite all my prayers!
Babi suddenly stops as she hears Morey's voice.. she hides behind a high block of the derelict site..
You are all lame ducks! you watch so many action films! but when its time for the real thing you pass out!I am getting late for my engagement, now tell me where is she?
She overhears something and covers her mouth in disbelief, as she holds up Bappa's idol in her hands and stares at it in shock... episode ends. Hamlet 53~ 18.9.13

Precap : sahab if someone finds her , then every thing will be destroyed!. Morey shoots at something on the ground.. and a concealed Babi witnesses everything. In panic she tries to run , but steps on some aluminium foil which makes a noise and alarms the men.
