The Chemistry Within..

So what is chemistry between two people? is it at first point the physical aspect of how in sync a man and woman appear together before an audience? or is it how well they please each other's outer eye that the delight obtained mirrors through their eyes.Or is chemistry, the silent untold vernacular between two people that just exists without them having the need to verbalise it?..or is chemistry, that elusive sensation that transcends over mere matter, and elevates the soul into heavenly realms where the spirit, roams free from the binds of all physicality weighed down by a mundane existence.

On screen in romantic depictions, we first respond to how well a pair complement's each other, how brilliantly they tease out the best from each other in their specific role and characterization, how they fall and rise together or singularly in situations.Eventually after the couple's physical compatibility takes off, and the plot chivvies on.. we then get to see the pair's interactions in varied scenarios imitating life. When we are at a loss of words at a scene, be it the characters or the content; that is when we cannot help but say kya chemistry hai!

Here then is an assorted offering of LTL1 scenes, some poignant, some light, and some tender..So friends revive the moments when Dutta and Naku created, a spark, a chemical reaction, an empathy and a desire within us to crown them as the eternal lovers yet again!

Is a scene that speaks volumes about a certain attachment that exists between this couple.. ironically there is a certain sincerity of expression, undeniably from Dutta's side, he lays bare his soul, which is clearly evident not only by the clarity of words but also from his deeply distressed body language..here stands the great Don, yet again publicly brought to his knees by a woman..this time though there are slight ambiguities, the girl is far from visually beautiful, and this time he loves the girl, he was sure they both struck a cord.. only to find the note jars out of tune.There are vibes in all the movements he makes, he smarts and undoubtedly his soul cries for respite, that which only she can give.. and so he bombards her with questions that would eventually, force her to give that one answer that can heal his pining soul.. and we all sit awe struck by the harmony in pain between these two .. is this chemistry?

Let's now look to the nonverbal eye locks..Dutta surprises all, including us by expressing an interest in being included in the largely female oriented garment plus accessories shopping party..

the clip begins with eye locks.. his looks say it all, not wanting to let go of her from his room.. even for the sake of traditions.. and after that is a lingered love lock if there ever was one.. love you baaby.. his besotted eyes relay.. and for you Naku, I Dutta am ready to take a girlie shopping spree! gosh in between the looks he gives Madhu... and Baji slipping.. have to say this clip is a treat, in itself watching the two gangsters being gagged by women's frivolities!

Oh this is classic..the great Bhao overseeing what is being selected for his wife to be..and then the lion starts to shake his mane, I love the scene the music is mind blowing.. and so the lion goes back to claw the prey! and what a resounding punch! and Baji's chilling words.."ye Bhao hai Dutta Bhao"... wow wow... hailaa kya chemistry hai reee tum dono ke.. Dutta aur Baji!

This clip celebrates the uplifting spirit of occasions and festivals.There is family oneness, mirth and warmth, but amidst this environment sits Dutta stiff and slightly in a state of shock! blanked out "huh? expression. More clothes and this time the onus is not on a selection of which revolver to chose but garb! and then happens some magical eye up movements in succession that Dutta indulges in..devil may care he will engage in visual consents from Naku in her choice of which attire to select..talk about chemistry between the two.. and long live the mirror that acts as the prop to connect the lovers.. was it nerves that make him give such pathetic excuses for the outfits she rejects.. haaa hoo. Have to say love Dutta in light situations.. did someone say stupid ass?... ummhh highlight.. his pull of his mouth, and impressive hairy eyeballs in the mirror scene.. and further more stolen sided gazes in puja, a spiritual high...

The final clip captures the sinister side of LTL..we see a gathering of Dutta's friends, all crooks!, and ceremony...but the first highlight is Dutta's grand descent in the royal blue outfit, she chose for him ...their eyes meet and give each other a kiss of approval ..in particular is commendable Naku's audacious love torn look that she gives her Saab, similar to her smitten looks when she first set eyes on him. More visual subtleties of unspoken love between the two, which culminates in the indicative slow turn of his head, and lowering of his eyes towards the emptiness besides him.. come sit beside me my love.. did any one notice his expression was more of a command...take your rightful place beside me.. the chemistry talks..and so does the shy awkwardness both feel, seated next to each other. Highlight.. did anyone notice the stubborn mule in fineries actually grins in this final clip.
