Hammie these clips was witness to the sher being tamed by a chit of a girl, the dawning of awarenes in dutta that he had infact wronged naku in his rage n arrogance. He was remorseful and guilt ridden, his restlesness inside the room when he introspects is proof of the guilt. This was the first instance to show the importance of naku in his life. Her leaving his abode hurt him, the look in his face when she says those two sentences was like thousand daggers in his heart.. At the end of the 2nd clip he couldnt stop from accompanying her on the pretext of sending off. It was so important for him to know what she felt n he only prolonged the seperation to find some answers. It was nothing but seeds of love sprouting...😉
Babi naku convo as you pointed hammie brings to fore the sanctity of marriage n the immense value attached , also to the symbolisms of the institution in our society. Babi urging naku to fight for her rights n naku refusing to adhere... Both were right in their own ways, babi wanted answers and naku already had the answers. A very interesting debate here between the mother n daughter. Is it ok to accept things lying down or should we fight for our rights especially in matters where love n emotions are involved. Its not like some business/commercial venture thats gone sour n scores are settled thro monetary settlements. Matters of heart cannot be equalled with contractual viabilities. Naku is too stunned and hurt to exact answers from her husband. A marriage borne out of vengeance couldnt have had a happy ending. There had to be some reverberations and when dutta realises his mistake he promptly decides its time to undo the damage. What he fails to understand is the consequences of both his actions were devastating
For naku n her mother the sanctity of marriage is paramount and irreversible as also the after effects of a seperation doesnt bode well. The mother daughter bond is brilliant, one emotional the other philosophical, each complimenting the other. Babi is a fighter a fiercely protective mother who was not to be cowed down by the don,s stature.
AS,s reasoning seems too hollow n babi was visibly cringing the whole time. AS,s only concern is dutta n dutta alone. To me she had failed as a parent 😒 She had lost the moral authority to console the duo.
