Character of the week Seema.

Seema was a very interesting character...the character that was responsible for a simple boy becoming a Don. A big šŸ‘ to Praneeta Sahu for performing a negative character, it cannot be easy to be hated by so many fans of LTL .

I personally got sympathy for Seema's character, later in the show.

LTL had some amazing characters and some great actors and actress who did a fantastic job...you even remembered the bodyguards and how many time a bodyguard did different role in the same show. šŸ˜†

I liked Seema's ruff way...very different from Nakku and Supriya.

Dutta and Seema's chemistry was great...sometime there was more "sparks" between them than Dutta and Nakku. Maybe the reason is that the actress was able to show more face expressions and more vulnerability.šŸ¤”

When Dutta and Seema meet...Seema was very young who made some very wrong choices and chooses money over love.I do not think that her feelings for Dutta was as deep as his was...maybe she never really loved Dutta. Seema was a character who wanted to enjoy life...she wanted adventure. But when Seema had to take the consequences of her wrong doings, she realize what she had lost and that adventure was not worth all the pain she was feeling and all the pain she has cost Dutta.

There was this emptiness in her heart and she thought that getting Dutta back would fill it.

I still do not think that when she came back for Dutta it was because she loved him, I think she wanted to be true and deeply loved by someone again...she wanted to slow down and was tied of the life she was living.

I think what bother her was, that she never gave Dutta a chance...the thing about not knowing what life would have been with Dutta.

She was not feeling guilty over what she did to Dutta or what she was responsible of...she just wanted Dutta back.

Seema was selfish...even though when she came back she said she wanted redemption...but not for making up for her wrong doings...she was still selfish when she came back and I do not really thing she knew it herself.

Something was very interesting the way she would look at blind Dutta...she loved the suspense and loved the power Dutta had and the strong man he became. I also thing if Dutta had chosen Seema doing the blind track he would have become a powerful and strong Don...Seema had a strength while Nakku kind of weaken Dutta as a Don.Here is the scene where Seema gave Dutta the look of proudness and adoration.

Seema is (for Dutta) his true and first love. Naku is his soul made...who he learned to love...who he have a deep connection with and who has been send by Baba (like to believe that) to put him on the right track because Baba got great plans for him.

I think was it not for Kala, Jagtab and Anna...Dutta would not have seen Naku as his life partner. Naku offered so much for Dutta...gave Dutta his dreams and hope back...But Nakku would only have been Dutta's most trusted and close friend and nothing more and Dutta would likely have gone back to Seema...when she came back for him.

This coming scene I love and I love the dialogs the sadness there are between Seema and Dutta. If you think about where they were, as two young and simple people in love...because of wrong choices...both are broken...there young love and there choices destroyed them.

Now I totally love this scene too, with Dutta as blind, even as blind Dutta had a power and was šŸ˜ .

Mishal is one actor who did not needed any sunglasses and who could actually act as blind. The way in his eyes there was this emptiness...was amazing. šŸ‘

Thanks for reading another post of "character of the week". It kind of makes you miss LTL more...and I love the different views there is on the characters and all your comments. 😃

Great Post Ani...

When I read this post and went down... I find this old post on Seema in Suggested Links below... by Elysia...

Here's the link:

CA: Seema (10th March)

Will try to get back with my bits later... 😊

Edited:

In my opinion... she was a youth who wanted to enjoy her life... To her it didn't matter how it came... She was with Dutta when he was showering his hard earned money on her... like bringing jewellery etc for her... But she preferred luxurious lifestyle... which Dutta couldn't afford... Had garage owner or any other similar person showed her colours of luxury... she would have been with Dutta only... But still if she would have got married to a mechanic Dutta... her life would not have been satisfied... result a failure in marriage... taking into account how much Dutta had worked hard to sustain their marriage...
On contrary... I agree that Dutta was also young... but his relationship view was more sincere than hers...

However... she felt failure on her part later when she became a naachne wali or chaskar ki Chandani... Had she been in ANY sincere relationship... she won't have any regret towards breaking Dutta's heart... But her character remained consistent through out the period... A never satisfied woman...
She was never satisfied with Dutta's earnings... so she moved on to Garage Owner... later she wasn't satisfied with what her life was... she turned into a naachne wali... (I don't feel somebody forced her to this profession... It had been only her dissatisfaction towards any relationship in her life that she was at this point)

Her regret on Dutta... here too her character was consistent... she wanted Dutta in return to her forgiveness... It wasn't enough for her that she could have been forgiven by Dutta... She might be looking for true love... but woman... can you look into your past... learn something from that... You can't get everything in life you desire... and the things that he desired for... she had to pay huge incentives for that...

She might have grown up in those 10 years by age... But her brain was still that young... that couldn't learn from mistakes of her past... She was same from start to end...
or as Ana coined mature and another word form me... unsatisfied till end...

Added: I don't really hate this character... or any character in LTL... after all what they have to do with my real life... šŸ˜†
But every character laid a foundation to the reason behind his/her being in story and him/her being woven with other characters of the story... Seema's reason was that she was immature and due to her immaturity throughout she remained unsatisfied... She never learned from her own mistakes... rather she started weaving further dreams... never thought about consequences of her actions... rather dreamt for covering up the earlier failures of her actions with new mistakes...

res ani ..
will back with reply :)
ok here i 'm ani...
i didn't watch early episode so i am sure but my view yet here they are..
hmm seema seema she was sweet n sour for me...she was reason behind dutta to dutta bhao journey..actress deserve pats surely for playing seema...(off course becoz of her i got my gangster love) šŸ˜†..she was young she made wrong choice (similar like naku's sis roopa one more point conecting dutta n nakusha's rough life)...i disagree with you ani i never seen any spark between seema n dutta...i find seema's control on whole reletionship...scene when was romancing the man dutta shocked seeing all this ...not single line of regreat on her face saying 'jeb khali our chahiye seema jaisi gharwali..." ..yeah same sceen playing whenever dutta got his tradmark 'DHKHA'...he started hatiing beautiful face...😔...dutta really love with soul thats why he didn't killed her 😭
tough she was not in dutta's life for all those year but her betrayed keep influencing his life deeply...
money for whom she leaved him become his aim of life...after supriya poor naku got punishment for seema n sups betrayed ...eventually tasha came close through long journey...and seema entering in their life as CHANDA ...she was not same like before she earned money but she missed true love in in her life...love like dutta ...as she found dutta after accident she help him in recovering form injury...i was like ok she regret her karma ... by helping dutta ... but i feel when she found out dutta loosed his eyes...he need someone to help him continusedly her effort helping dutta turned into win him agein...she was selffish ...she want forgiveness n dutta too (damm wrong choice girl 🤢)..seema can make him more stonger don but in contrast naku made him stong human...
naku's faith and unconditional love make her loose ...i remember dutta n seema eye drpping scene... dutta telling her about his wife his soul mate his love and his lawful wife...look on seema face unforgottable ... after dutta nakus reunion she helped them to run off...(i thank her for that 😃)...then she kind of gang up with kala...and at final faceoff she took bullet for dutta...
she was both postive n negetive personality at same time...lets end saying her selfish CHANDA losed battle ageinst pure soul girl seema,,,
hush finally ..i am done...😲🄱

Ani, great post !

Character of Seema, I am not very fond of her character but mostly for she was a total numbskull in the beginning. She went after money and hurt someone who was dedicated to her...whether we like it or not..he did believe he love her...and she was brutal enough to play with his feelings like that. If you ask me, I would've question her as to why she was with Dutta in the first place, if her thoughts of him were as she told him. She thought little of him, he had no money, so how was he worthy of her and yet she is the one who was I guess using him for whatever reason, acting, and practically degraded herself and his love together. So that is where I guess my hate for her sproutd from lol...

So when she came back, regretting her actions, I did not sympathize with her at all. I more so thought ok well I guess people can change so she can be forgiven but that would be the extent of it. But even in all that, the focus was herself, it was never others. Her life became such that she possibly pitied herself, she had cause self destruction for her own desires and now she was back for the same reason her own desires...a desire to have that life she trashed, a desire to have someone like Dutta love her..but added bonus was he had what she wanted initially from him now. Money. So you can never be sure whether that desire has really gone, especially with what she does do for a living...

Yes, she helped him, but again I felt that it was also for herself as she wanted forgiveness but she wanted him also.

Regardless of it all the main point of her return (at least for her) was so get a sense of relief, for herself, esp if she was able to get back to where she was...she did not bother to think to see where this man stands now. Catch up a little, see where things are...but nope it was about her own needs...

Point to add, you've mentioned that during blind track had he chosen seema she would've strengthened him versus Naku who was more weakening. My thoughts would differ. Sure she had the sense and perhaps durability to withstand and help handle. She has been around such environments that it was no kidding that she had some street sense to handle con artists šŸ˜† but anyway I felt that yes he had a weakness Naku because he loved her and more so because he did not want to see her hurt whether he admitted that or not, but she was also his strength, with her faith and her words, her patience and her understanding of his whole being...wheres seema was just there to wash herself clean through the eyes of someone whose forgiveness will give her that feel... now reading that bit u wrote have to say i cringed at the thought of it turning that way (thankfully it didn't spark no triangle lol - our man is dedicated to his soulmate) but yes interesting thought still.

thanks for the post ani, loved it ...although i never really cared for this character..its nice to bring such diff perspectives and share thoughts...sometimes we see things we miss...its good..

alright ..take care Ani...phir milenge chalte chalte

Sona...Thank you.😃
Sana and Daya...thank you for your comments...love reading them.😃
I agree with you both that Naku is Dutta's strength and that he need her in his life. šŸ‘šŸ¼
The character of the week was Seema, so I only concentrated on Seema and what she can give Dutta. I beleve if Naku was not part of Dutta's life but Seema was, he would have been a more dangerous and powerful don. Seema is tuff, she likes suspense and danger...she would not faint like Naku. šŸ˜†

About "sparks" between Dutta and Seema...maybe I used the wrong word. šŸ¤”What I would like to say is, that if you see the scene where Seema bring food to Dutta, he is comfortable and himself, he likes her controlling way. With Naku there was always a distant and it was not from Dutta's side, he gave his all in there relationship but Naku hold back, she kept a wall of lies between them.

Naku's intention was good but she was also being a little selfish.

In D-N The Eternal Story...Dutta say to Naku...you love me unconditionally but you do not trust me - He is right about that.

Not only as a character there was some distant, Mahi as an actress was also lacking of vulnerability, intensity and energy in her performance. She gave some mind blowing performance in some scenes and the track with both in love the moments where cute and romantic... but over all...there was something missing...Sorry but that how I feel.

Episodes with Naku/Mahi, where there was not much of Dutta/Mishal...where boring.

The most important scene between Dutta and Seema was the second video I have uploaded. The sadness there is in the scene...both looking at where they are and what they have lost because of wrong choices in their lifes...it sad.

Seema and Dutta...both kind of in the same situation because of the choices they made. The different is that Dutta...matured, found the right path, looking for redemption and making amends. Dutta got a clean and honest heart.

The other...Seema...has not matured, is still trying to find herself, think her redemption lay in Dutta forgiving her and she get him back in her life.

That is way I sympathies with her, she does not have a bad heart or is a negative character, she just made some very bad choices and is still immature.

hellooo Ani, so another feat of your pen, a further spin of interesting characteristic features of yet another lesser but nonetheless pivotal role in LTL1.
To me the character of Seema is appealing, as like other LTL1 personas she is prone to varied changes in her character and therefore fits in very well within the plot of the story.
She has a purpose to her life, that of Dutta learning about love, recognising its negative side and finally rejoicing when he eventually finds true love.
Seema to me, both as a persona and as the actor who plays the role has to be the most voluptous and wholesome woman in terms,of comparison to the other two woman shown in Dutta's life. This might well be the role requirement, but she still shows me mujras, and the seedy unmentionable side of nigthlife that certainly contributes to raising an eye brow.
Seema I also like, for she has to be and is the first woman who makes Dutta realize that he is a man, and an attractive one ,who can be loved alongside all the troubles that weigh down his life. To me the scenario of a simple rural back drop of a youthful fresh greased up in overalls mechanic falling in love with one of the tailors daughters down the road is romantic but as natrual as breathing air. They had to meet,it is the done thing.
Seema 's beauty had pierced the young lad first through the eyes and then made way to his soul. He was besotted by her beauty and therefore in this youth she is his first love.
It is noteworthy that Seema, is an object of beauty which Dutta loves, however this so called Love of Dutta never really has traces of a love that is the result of a friendship, an affection, a click of matters of mutal interest ,that which makes lovers want to be together at all times.
I like Seema, as she is the woman who cements further Dutta's and Baji's friendship bond ,as Dutta off loads about his overwhelming desire for her to Baji..
Fair enough she is the lover turned courtesan, but than again some where in LTL1 she lays down her life for Dutta.. now what's Love got to do with this? or does it?
Many thanks Ani, for a well written post, as usual brimming with thought provoking questions .. goading me to write my views. Will watch the video clips later, hummh they tend to make me look at the him... rather than the character foci of the week
much love mate. xxx hammie
