Hmm, there's a difference between this and Genelia's dress, I think. Doesn't look like this has two pieces, i.e. a top and bottom...seems like an empire waist anarkali/dress but the layering gives it the look of a lehenga with a top because of the material (netting, organza?) and the way the work is laid out in separation between top and bottom. Hard to tell from the picture. Genelia was wearing the distinct long kameez over lehenga style which was/is back in style from quite a few years across the border where fashion keeps on changing radically according to trends, and it seems to have seeped into MM's work too. It doesn't really have any specific name I believe...just google long shirt lehenga and you'll see plenty of the kind 😆

Ah, I see. Yeah, I loved Genelia's outfit for her sangeet ceremony. I remember back in the day there was something similar that was out...I think Laancha is what it was called. Thanks for the clarification, Fatty. 😊
