What is the problem in Shabbir where he is unable to match MR???

Totally agree he muust now starting demanding, otherwise channel and PH will remain as what they are...yes that Deegu is very very irritating in the show...If NS is alive first he must kill that Deegu than he can think about Dutta..but bump of that Deegu character immediately...

I think SA thought that by performing Dutta character he can get some good fiction shows in future, Dutta character is iconic but our directors of the show and poor scripting of New Dutta have become completely spoiler...I think MR equally demanded his share in role apart of Mahi...both got gr8 importance and TRP's got spiked like anything...but channel came back to their old formula after MR exit which have spoiled the show like hell...

SA simply does not show the facial intensity -especially the eyes, and the voice, that the intense character of Dutta demanded. If Adesh (Deegu) was misfit, SA fares just a shade better. He had his moments to show his acting skills at his re-union with the members of PN, and he was completely disappointing, even worse than an ordinary actor.

There was an enormous moment in the episode and it turned into near comic. They showed the close ups of all members of PN as SA was delivering the lines showing how heart-broken and crest fallen he was on his return. During these close-ups if one cared to notice the subtle changes in facial and eye expressions of Kala, then you realise what good acting is all about. SA had long stretch of dialogues but his voice and facial expressions were a total let down. He could not emote, he could not get the right facial expressions and the tone in the voice to portray the tremendous anguish that the character was .

There is only one way LTL can go - down.

28th march is the day i stopped watching the serial. i saw shabbir only in the promo of his entry out of curiosity... his dressing,stance,expressions and yes hairstyle made me go; to put it very politely...EWWW!!!!!

then i saw him in passing during channel surfing.he changed his hair style which made me wonder if he owns a mirror and if he does, does he bothers to look at it... as an actor can he afford to look anything less than perfect. perfect door ki baat does he look remotely like a small town don goodlooking or otherwise..??!!

he was good in kayamath.better than good actually.which makes me agree with kshreya that whatever he is doing he must be doing it for money. if not that he must be hypnotized or he is really drugged i guess...

poor direction,horrible script, terrible cast n crew excuse will sell only for so long. shabbir is no new comer.he had a name, a reputation. he has been in the industry for more than a decade.he should have stood up for himself. when mishal despite doing only two serials among which one serial not many heard off; can speak up for his character shabbir could have done a lot more.instead he let himself to be sidelined. worse he allowed people to walk all over the character that he is playing. either he is disinterested which as an actor is criminal or is doing it for money or other purposes which as a man of his calibre is pathetic. there are times i feel sorry for him. he really deserved a better deal.and then there are times i could gladly throttle him saying" how could u let them do this to u. how could u do this to DSP.. mishal gave his blood n sweat for this character".

time to show promise is long gone.it was time to deliver.and even that time is long due..

from this poll i observe that majority people said tha SA does not get proper oppertunity ... i think SA get oppertunity but heshows no interset in this character in yesterday eppisode he did not do a good job according to the situation...

Hey guys,

Just a reminder:

Comparision between two actors is not allowed on IF - what may seem up to par to one person may not qualify for the next and to try to evaluate one person in light of another is not fair either.

As mentioned in this thread by some, MR and SA are both different people with different acting styles. You can judge them individually and criticize their performance as needed. But see to it that we do not use one as a standard to judge the other because it gives rise to personal bias and arguments.

So far this thread has been absolutely civil and we have seen no bashing/comparison at all - but we will be keeping an eye on this thread.. So I figured a heads up/reminder was in order because any bashing/comparision will not be tolerated.. 😳
