Wow. A lot has happened in the past week. Dutta went from denial and anger to realization and, well, more anger, and grief. He has finally realized, full and well, that Nana is his enemy. Now on top of all this, he has also forgiven Damodar to a certain extent and has started beating himself up about 1) not taking the chance to talk to Damodar when his father was still alive, and 2) freezing Madhu out. yep defo m glad this letter put a closure to dutta's confusions...it nt onli says tht NS is his enemy bt also says why...it also revealed the stuff baji n naku wud neva cum 2 no... i.e. tht supriya's getaway was NS's plan... i'd say b4 dyin DP apne pitah hone ka farz kuch hadh thak poora kar gaya...this letter reali made me feel bad for DP, Madhu and Dutta...bt mainly DP...i'd defo like 2 c hw this letter changes Dutta's behaviour towards madhu... bt mst importantly whether or not it does... their relationship is reali complicated

First, he is all high and mighty PMS, in denial, a real brat, and then he realizes the reality of things and starts blaming himself to the point that he needs alcohol to drown all his senses - and then, of course, the real healing process begins. i hpe alcohol is kept a mile away from this part onwards... he's seriously gna develop severe health problems if he continues drinking😕

Throughout his realization of the truth, I could feel just how overwhelmed he was by all kinds of odd and bewildering emotions. Some of those emotions were nameless. Now, it seems that he feels a strong sense of loyalty toward his father. The notion that he wants to promise Damodar not to harm Nana as long as Rupali is alive - somehow I doubt that he'd even consider this in his normal rage following such a revelation that obviously tore him apart. sme here bt i guess the promo by khushi ova the weekend gave it away tht he wnt openly declare warm with nana simply becos of DP's promise...which in itself speaks a lot...i mean this was the sme dutta tht didnt acknowledge DP n hated him at 1 point n 2day the sme DP is stopping him from harming his biggest enemy---summut tht no1 cud do...nt AS...nt Naku...no1.. if u notice no1 til date has stopped dutta from reaching n harming his enemy nt evn threats to his family...bt DP's promise has...bt m sure he wil keep an eye on NS's actions n w8 for the right time 2 declare war...i think mayb dutta wnts NS 2 reveal his truth himself 2... thts y m havin my hopes pinned on the factory inaugration...i feel NS has summut big planned...come on this factory has been in discussion for a while.. n NS inviting his family 2 it...defo summut fishy...note hw he always does summut wen he invites dutta n his family ova... no doubt an attack is waiting 2 tke place..i cnt w8...m so excited...lol...No, it's those cryptic emotions toward his father (in the wake of reading the letter) that has Dutta making this mental promise to Damodar and becoming so aware of Madhu and the few memories he has of his meeting with his father - note that in the video he was remembering how he treated Damodar and how Damodar, despite the abuse, treated Dutta.yep defo... no doubt this letter was written post tht event becos AS hadnt forgiven him thn n wen he wrote the letter AS had forgiven him as he mentioned tht in the letter... dutta probs regretting his actions esp considering tht despite it all DP stil b4 leaving the world solved dutta's many mysteries n problems which otherwise wud hav remained unsolved...i.e. Supriya's getaway was NS's plan... women tracking was NS's plan...DP didn't no naku's face truth (wich i stil dnt gt y becos he knw a lot abt naku's family--i.e. tht ganpath was a drunkard n stole stuff etc) all these things wer answered in tht letter...also the ? tht mayb dutta always wntd 2 ask bt his ego neva let him..."y did DP return after so many yrs...y didnt he try cumin 1st?"---it ws answered...it was 2 protect him from NS...becos he knw dutta was living a gumnaam zindagi in the sense tht he wasnt knwn 2 the world as DP's son n tht was the reason y he was free from death threats..summut which madhu wasn't...she was always the main target from day 1... dutta cme in2 the pic much l8r on...n probs wudnt hav eva if he didnt step in the underworld/don business... it was onli after he became a don tht he cme into the sight/knowledge of NS... I always thought that Dutta having no actual memory of Damodar selling him/feeding him beer, etc., as a kid means that Dutta had no actual hatred toward Damodar other than the strong detest that was a result of the knowledge he was given about Damodar's deeds.

I think that Dutta felt a strong sense of relief, having read the letter - 1) because he wanted to allow himself to care for Damodar, yet felt a strong sense of loyalty toward his mother and sisters, thus it bothered him and he decided to shut Damodar out of his life entirely. However, knowing how much his father paid for his deeds, knowing that he felt remorse and attempted to do the right thing, and knowing that he never forgot his son, but kept an eye on him - all of these things seemed to make Dutta feel that he could permit himself to care now. Because despite being a bad person, Damodar was trying to make amends, and did manage to make a few amends before he died. it defo did giv a sense of relief...as said b4 a lot of mysteries hav been resolved thru the letter which else otherwise wud hav remained a paheli...dutta's received a lot of ans to his ?s which wil hpefully help him make peace with his dad...accept him--summut which he hasnt fully dne yt...(stil addressing him as DP n nt dad---summut i wud like him 2 do is address him as Dad) nt sure if it wil happen tho...😕2) I think that Dutta always wanted to know the truth about his father. To know that they were different somehow, not entirely the same. Dutta couldn't have overlooked the striking persona-related similarities b/t Damodar and himself. The road they both chose to go down. Yet the difference remains that Dutta never stopped caring. Even when he was dark, a part of him stayed human. He killed people, but not always for selfish reasons (as it were to start with, you know, Seema's betrayal, etc.). Unlike Damodar, he felt responsible for people. 😕hw do u mean he felt responsible for ppl...didnt Dutta feel the sme?😕
I wonder, though. How does one perceive Dutta's dirty deeds compared to Damodar's or Nana's or any other gangster's for that matter? Are there different levels of bad? Did Dutta ever really come to terms with his past as a cold-blooded killer? He was a contract killer. He killed for money. How does one come to terms with something like that? Perhaps he'll burn forever, knowing what he did, and not feeling that he can ever make up for it? Where does his redemption start and where does it end? Is it true what Kala said? He'll end up in Hell, punishment for his bad deeds? yes he was a contract killer... he used 2 do it for money to start with...as he sed 2 naku in tht special update tht he neva considered who the person was...or his family wen he used 2 kill b4...bt wen he found thm women in thm boxes...it was tho thts wt shaked dutta n thts wen he decided he wnt kill without a solid reason...he was against women tracking business...as a summary i'd say NS is the worst--living a double life..while DP n dutta always lived a single life..they wer wt they wer infront of evry1...nt summut dif 2 the family n summut dif outside..while NS was...his sis had no clue abt his women tracking business..cos he wntd 2 remain a goody 2 shoes infront of his sis whilst didnt care 2 think tht the women he sold wer sum1s sisters too?... But there are so many things that sets him apart from Damodar, the man his father was. The whole history repeating itself element is still very much there - yet Damodar and Dutta were two different men, despite their similarities.
Nakusha's comfort is touching. She's just there, helping him through. She can't take his pain. But she can support him through it - kind of like when he held her hand through the surgery after she was shot. That was a very sweet moment between them. yes indeed..it was like i cnt tke the pain away bt the least i cn do is share it with u...i've noticed tht with dutta...weneva he gave pain 2 naku (after falling in love with her) he always punished himself...like wen he slapped her n she fell n her wound started bleeding...he wnt n self harmed himself...(smashing alcohol bottle in his hand n his hand started bleeding)

Will Dutta pretend around Nana, searching for the man's weaknesses as he waits... he wil defo w8...for what? For Rupali to die or wake up? ideally wake up becos for NS 2 knw tht DP was innocent she HAS to wake up...NS cnt die without knwing his revenge was wrong... he has to no tht b4 he dies..its VITAL...Rupali has 2 wake up n reveal the truth...
