This is the road that leads to the sawantwadi bungalow.
Me: It also must be the road Damodar walked every day. Nostalgia. Oh, Mooner. I think that I can make out his footsteps in the path. What big feet he had.
The view of the river from the backyard, Madhu had described it sooo well, its beautiful.
Me: Beautiful. Dutta should've been standing before this view, spread his arms, and howled "Dutta Bhaaau" like an initiation of the place.
One of the mango orchards, heavily guarded. It wasn't easy giving chakma to those guys, believe me!!
Me: Wait, Mooner. Look closer. Those are Damodar Kaka's men.
Another part of the orchard, the surveilance was comparatively thinner on this side.
Me: The trees have lush mangos on them. Perhaps this is where Damodar Kaka took little Madhu to play aam-churao. I can just see little Madhu giggling and running in and out between the trees, snatching mangos as she goes and Damodar Kaka laughing as he calls for her.
The two tokris that I could manage, sorry guys, not much...but since had to steal...
Me: You managed to steal all these? *jawdrop* I once tried to steal apples from my neighbour's (do note that I was young and with a friend) backyard and we only managed to steal one. However, it seems that stealing from your neighbour's backyard should be easier than stealing from a public place with surveillance everywhere. Well done, Mooner.
A closer view of the famed Hapoos...almost as droolworthy as Dutta 😉
Me: Yes, almost. Nothing is as droolworthy as Dutta.
Ok, I swear this was the only one that I munched on before bringing the loot here 😃
Me: OH, YUM. Look at the moist juicy goodness right there. Looking good, Mooner. I.N.V.U.
