This is a paraphrased excerpt from the Interview given by shabbir to the rival site:-
Shabbir comments on how he isn't focues on the audience's reaction (as in whether they accept him or not) at the moment but he hopes that they do accept him. He also says that MR has done a great job as Dutta so far.
And about his entry on the show he talks about how Dutta will be help captive and chased/bound - which he said was different than what he was normally used to doing where he'd be the oppressor and not the oppressed.
