Dear Bandbajao,
Before I enter Patil Niwas or Set out for Satara or Sawantwadi, I want to make one thing clear...
Just didn't like the sound your red bits below Ivy's post (page 3, @purple...)
What do you mean this thread may not be there in 6 weeks time??????????????????
Its unthinkable!!!! And You are NOT a Heart-Breaker...
please don't drop such bombs and jolt us😲
You wishing to see Nanasaheb in a body bag is in a way understandable.
I mean, there were some who actually wanted to see Michael Jackson dead too, right?
Can't lie and say I'm able to look at your POV dispassionately. Still, am ready to get into a discussion with an aim of changing your mind.
But pg 3 @ Purple...Its Situation(a) non grata...
and I intend to do this democratically by taking a vote on the subject.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whats happening to Dutta?
Is the man turning a democrat from a dictator!!
Is the persistent neck pain having an effect on his confidence?
I mean he announces a decision and promptly looks at either Naku or Baji for approval? And Aayisaheb again gets her way? Weren't the ladies of the house not supposed to go out as per Dutta's dictat? And here you have her, almost sending a picnic party to Sawantwadi!!!!
Just when I was about to applaud Dutta on his decision to send Baji off with Madhu... Shakuntala devi butted in with her group therapy plan!! (Aayi Jagadambe, ye kyaa ho raha hai?)
Madhu was all her Brother's sister today. Her defiant..Aap ke liye Dad ki aakhri ichcha ka koi maatlab nehi hoga, per mere liye hai bhaiyya...mere liye hai... packed such deep pain.
She loves them both and is torn apart every time Dutta insults their late father's memories. Liked very much how Madhu pointed out she will not leave Dutta because their Dad wanted her to be with him and finally ...aap mana bhi karenge tab bhi main jaungi bhaiyya...Yeh mera faisla hai.
And Dutta gets a dose of his own Kadwi Dawai 😃
Naku anticipated the moment well and pulled the 'Hand' brake just in time to rein in the about to flare Dutta. Saving his larynx from overloading.
But frustrations had to be taken out na? so, Bajiii...Gadi nikal. (kabhi khud bhi nikalke dikaiye)
Previous to Vakil saab Jondhale's entry...when Dutta was giving Baji his precise instructions regarding procurement of Sanjay Rao's janam kundli (mnx12, you can help the misguided soul here) the way Naku and Baji exchanged coded glances and nods had me in splits.
Like
Naku:...Baji kuch bhi kar pan been mat bajana!!
Baji: ...Fikar nakko re...nehi bajayega...mana yeh Bhains nehi Gadha hai...pan baat ekhich hai.
Post Jondhale's entry, Dutta, I agree, behaved like an attention seeking Prima donna.
I really pity the lawyer. First he's jolted by Bajis..Kaun hai be tu...and then
Dutta pouncing on him with his 'Aye Vakil !!'
( MR's trademark tone which has been discussed at length in previous posts)
The poor guy was simply nonplussed, not to mention shaken. And Dutta felt plenty pleased...I mean he is just doing his job, why bully the man?
Baji was so much more logical...as Dutta raved on about the names of Damodar's will executors..he straight went to the point and asked about the address.
And what an address... DUTTA NIWAS!!!!!!
The irony of it all!
But did it strike Dutta that his father actually named a house after him? Did he stop to ask himself why? Also by mentioning his children as Dutta Sriram Patil and Madhu Damodar Patil.. Damodar showed he was sensitive to Dutta's emotional needs. (Also changing Dutta's name would mean legal hassels for him)
Pity Dutta fails to pick up all these small details and integrate them into a larger whole.
But then seeing clearly that which stares him in the face has never been Dutta's cup of tea, sorry bottle of booze. Just the way he failed to recognise Sanjay Rao when he was staring at him from the hood of his jeep.
The detailing of the will was awesome!! The language and the content shows how much the writer works to be as realistic as possible.
So Dutta now owns seven more houses in addition to Patil Niwas?
(Meaning seven extra homes for seven extra wives? Gecko, Superwoman, Cat lady...did you gurls see this?)
Damodar was surely rolling in the stuff. I personally would have liked his swiss bank a/c no. But the Pune account isn't bad either...150 crores is pretty neat. (he gives that amount for charity, so there has to be a swiss a/c)
Just wondering, what would be the net value of his eight houses and bagichas? Any idea?
Coming back to Nanasaheb and the revelations of his past...all I can say is, my belief in the utter ruthlessness of the man stands vindicated.
Agreed, he is blinded by rage and far gone in his mission revenge.
But to shoot down a mother feeding her child one needs to cross that fine line separating the dastardly from the monstrous.
(the detailing of this scene and the way it has been shot is both chilling and heart wrenching).
Much have been said about Nanasahebs psychopathic traits.
So wont get into that again. But even in his demonic, drenched and deadly avtaar, one just couldn't help noticing the retro styling and Choco-polka dots..the Silver sedan, his love for books and the Herbert Schmidt revolver. Must be a .22magnum.
No wonder he is mad at Kala.
He had let that lone bullet mature in its slot for twenty one years like wine. Now to no avail.
Can't sign off without drawing attention to a small detail...
FINALLY!!!!
Finally, theres some mention of MANGOES 😃
Seems like the Dharna is slowly bearing fruit
