Must say, I loved certain detailing.
The way the pitter-patter of the raindrops intensified on the car roof, the way Dutta wiped the vapour off his windscreen from inside, the way the rain drops were dripping down the mudguard...all these tiny details help make a scene look so real.
Ok, So Dutta's successfully schooled his mind to think things through at least.
Though he is still doubting Naku and Baji's story, not convinced enough to question Nanasaheb's affections. In fact he wants to prove them wrong.
Aha! so thats how Ravindra ji got Dutta to feel indebted to him for life?
Cool plan man. This is called Ishtyle!!!
In the seventies and early eighties Bollywood heroes used to apply this formula to win over their heroine's unying love...save her from the self appointed Gunda. When saving Dutta from Nagesh's henchmen, was Nanasaheb using the same formula? I mean anybody doing Kokin ka dhanda in his territory has to be under him or not?
Well today one got to see a very scary side of Dutta when he shot that man and coolly wiped the blood off his right hand and then used the same blood stained hanky to wipe the windscreen !!! That was the animal that he used to be.
I got absolutely involved in the action sequence and almost shouted once...Dutta watch out!!
I am always amazed with his marksmanship. Today too despite all that rain, haze and visibility problems he missed just once 😊
(note: 1. Nana was cent percent with his trigger. 2. Dutta wears shoes with skid proof grip.
3. Must find out who he learned to cartwheel from. Ravindra ji? 4. They showed AS, Naku and Baji's costume details. What were Leela, Roops and Suds wearing? Kuch to pehna hoga!)
Well we had another of those Patil Niwas special breakfasts.
Next time Naku should make it a point to serve Ozone-rich,-low humidity-crispy fresh AIR.
May be then Dutta and Baji will sit down to have their fill.
Baji's intentions are right. But he should have realised, letting that man with the lisp go was like sending Nanasaheb a personalised invitation card to come kick Butt. Still I think its going to do Dutta a world of good. Its evident Nanasaheb has laid a trap and laid it well. I'm not sure what it is. With Nanasaheb and the LTL writers, you can never predict. But still there are a few options.
Like
Ravindra ji intentionally scatters some 'proof' that Dutta finds and gets more mad at his late father.
Dutta and Baji are ambushed.
Baji is projected as a man trying to break up the Dutta-Nanasaheb bond for ulterior motives.
Dutta gets framed in something revolting.
Naah. No point groping in the dark. Guess I just want to be surprised or shocked when I find out.
And if the promo is anything to go by, then Dutta and Baji escapes whatever be the outermost ring of the Chackravyuh. For isn't that how they get to meet our new Cameo?
We are having this very engrossing debate about did Nanasaheb know Dutta was Damodar's son or not and if he did then why did he wait so long to harm Dutta.
Well since Damodar and Ravindra ji were such good friends, it seems unlikely that Nanasaheb did not know that Damya had a son. May be that is why he went out of his way to meet Dutta when he was turning out to be an emerging force and then make sure he gained enough of his respect and gratitude?
I don't know how many of us here have flown kites. If you have then you will know, the greatest pleasure in snipping off your opponents flier is when it has flown far and high. That way you do away with most of his/her manja and cause maximum damage. Its such a satisfactory sight to watch the kite helplesly fall for a long, long time.
May be Nanasaheb too wanted Dutta to fall from great heights.
Then again as we are surmising, Damodar could have had stood guard over Dutta that prevented Nansaheb from realising his plans.
Damodar must have been very powerful to have escaped Nanasahebs clutches after the Rupali incident. He also once told Naku that he could have finished off Dutta a long time back had he wanted to. The fact that Nanasaheb couldn't touch a hair on Damodar's head (not that there were many to touch) shows Damodar's influence over the underworld dons.
But its also possible that Nanasaheb was genuinely fond of Dutta and turned hostile only after Damodar's came back to Patilwadi or may be as recently as March.
Nice guessing game we have here.
One Q keeps bugging me though.
Who was the man who had won Dutta in that game of cards??
