We must have faith.
The season's only begun.
But this is a good time. Dutta all busy checking out Naku and Baji's story. If we sneak into one of his umpteenth gardens and pick a few, do you think the writer will notice?

And The Dharna thing is always there. If handled well it will yeild results. Anna (Hazare) has showed the way.

Finally got to post today...been busy with the family...:)
So Rupali is NS' sister as we guessed and I am glad the writer continued the Tasha scene from the night before, albeit with a sadu Dutta...ye kab sudhrega?
I wonder where Dutta will take Baaji? Will he stumble upon something else in the meantime? Will his attitude toward Naku soften?
Man..too many questions...hopefully the rest of the week gives us answers :)

Dear Bandbajao,

At the risk of inviting king sized brickbats, I have to say this.

Nanasaheb's affection for his sister was really very touching. Just goes to show we can never be fully black or white.
I do believe this man has a touch of the psychopath to him. His obsession with revenge and the twisted logic attached to it substantiates the psycho hunch. But one is also forced to think, did he irrecoverably lose some of his own reasoning seeing Rupali lying on that hospital bed?

Nanasaheb as a character is unscrupulous to say the least.
A man driven by money and power, priding himself at his capacity for all that is evil. He loves playing God by holding peoples lives to ransom, reveling in his own potential as the Devil. But amongst all these demonic traits there lies a deeply caring, almost besotted big brother for whom his sister encompassed his inner world. He keeps her alive, gets her treated. Is it only to keep fanning his desire for revenge? Does he feel guilty and think his sister is paying for his deeds? Or does he somewhere deep down harbour a hope of seeing Rupali talk to him again someday? This one trait lends to Nanasaheb that tiniest hint of being human. Otherwise He is the most stylish, classy and refined monster I've ever come across.

Having said that, his obsession with the dream of seeing Dutta's life turn just as much comatose as his sister is frightening. (Nanasaheb comes through as almost as desperate as Mr. Fix from Arround the World in Eighty Days of say the Wile E. Coyote from Roadrunner.) His meticulously devious plans, his treacherous manipulation of Dutta's emotions, first winning his trust, then his loyalty and then winning the Gadha over completely shows Nanasaheb's life had somehow got stuck at the date 31st January 1986!

He is a prisoner of time, a prisoner of hate and a desperately frustrated man. With all his means, his underworld connections and power, he must have tried to get to Damodar and having failed miserably turned his attention to what he thought would be a softer target, Dutta. For Dutta still is innocent of the past and cannot defend himself against that which he knows nothing about.

Nanasaheb couldn't have been a discerning man ever. For wasn't Damya his friend? and must have been a close one for him to have trusted Damya with his sister's safety and well being. So why did he not try and find out the truth twenty five years ago? Ok so he may have believed that Damodar killed Ramdas out of personal grudge, but Nanasaheb should have questioned the logic behind his attacking Rupali. The way she was stabbed repeatedly happens only when the attacker has carried out a hate crime. I just wish we knew all that transpired in Ramdas's house that day. There's a whole lot more to the story still.

What happens if Nanasaheb comes to know of the real culprit all these years later and find out he wasted a quarter of a century playing the deception artiste, trying to pin down Dutta in his Chackravyuh? Will Nanasaheb become a permanent member of a padded cell?

(Hope Baji turns on the radio of their open hood jeep and the song playing is "Abhimanyuuu, Chackravyuh mein phans gaya hai tu". But will Dutta take the hint? Moreover, do they have a radio installed in that car? )

Nanasaheb has clearly spread a net for Dutta and is waiting for him to get tangled. How well this man understands Dutta's psyche. He was sure that seeing Naku's torn pallu Dutta will get the pair of Baji-Naku to spill the beans and then wont accept their words against him. Thus embark on his own 'truth' finding mission. Wherein he, Nanasaheb will trap Dutta like a spider trapping a fly. (Nanasaheb plans reminded me of that nursery rhyme--'Come into my parlour, said the spider to the fly'---- same style, same Judas kiss)

Dutta on the other hand is still quite flummoxed. The waking up scene was a very nostalgic moment in todays episode. How many times have we seen Dutta wake up before? But today we saw him watching a sleeping Naku and watch her wake up...there is still anger in those puffed Dutta-cheeks (Oh Lekz please lets together pull them) but the signs of him cooling down are also distinct. He is still acting defiant, but the sense of Naku and Baji's words have just about started seeping into his thick head. Though he still believes He knows best!
(Oh! this man and his XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXXL EGO!)

Naku is trying her best, but Dutta has to play difficult, doesn;t he. Has to put up neon hoardings saying-Main ab bhi Gussa hoon, aur manao!!

Good to see Baji atleast is giving it to him straight..'.ye baar dushman pehchan ne mein der mat kar, Bhau'. Smartly reminding him of how he had played into the hands of Kala too, whom like Nanasaheb, he had trusted blindly.

But how can Dutta listen? Thats against his Shaan na?

As for Damodar not supporting Ladkiyon ka dhanda and respecting the sanctity of an Ashram land...we all guessed as much, didn't we? It only remains to be seen what Dutta does when he gets to know of this.
( Will he blame himself for not having enough trust for his father? Will he start giving himself the silent treatment the way he does with Naku and glare at his own reflection?

So nanasaheb's taking the chackravyuh to Dutta huh? Damodar in his lifetime never got caught in Nanasaheb's traps. May be Dutta too knows the todh to Nanasaheb's Chackravyuh? Aaahhh!!! so many Qs and no As )

Thanks again for getting me this Doh!!!

See Anna ji aur hum mein thoda pharak hai.

He fasts.
We want to eat 😃

If love is what the mountain (read writer) wants we will deliver it in cargo-carrier fulls. But haath mein placads le ke lappy ke saamne dharna zaroor kam karega. Naku ke Bappa pe bharosa rakhkho.

Interesting episode tonight. It had me pondering about whether or not I sympathized with Nana. I still haven't reached a conclusion on that one. I feel his pain over losing his sister and having (supposedly) been double-crossed by Damodar (although I'm quite certain that Damodar didn't stab Rupali). I guess that I can even understand Nana's vengeful mind-set, to a certain extent. However, I do not follow his reasoning. How does ruining Dutta's life pay Damodar back for what he did to Rupali? Damodar is far beyond the world of the living. I'm sure that he has other worries (such as facing Hell as Kala used to put it) that are preoccupying his dead mind.

Oh well. Villains rarely need an excuse to harm people.
Rupali doesn't seem as innocent as she appears to be. I'm sure it takes two to tango, so she must've handled things very badly to have landed in the deadly situation with Damodar, Ramdas, and herself. Those secret love letters she wrote Ramdas while her brother was oblivious to the whole affair and in Dubai... I don't know. I don't know what to think of any of it.
For the record, the Mutta scene (Madhu-Dutta) in Friday's episode was way too short -_-
I love Nakusha to death, but does she have to butt in everywhere? The scene with Madhu was nice, but I was like: "No, Naku, please. Just don't play middleman in this one. I want Dutta and Madhu to deal with things on their own."
The morning scene with Naku's hand on Dutta's chest was 😍 I could hear the heavenly choir in that one second eye-lock moment. But anyway, she needs to give him some space and some time to digest everything. He is processing it and he will come around. Now focus on being the good and obedient wife, Naku. That's right. "Obedient" being the new word for you.
Great episode with a clarification of the relationship between Nana and his sister. Considering the whole situation (and shock of it), it's understandable that he didn't question or investigate what had actually happened on that fateful night, but assumed that the culprit had to be Damodar. His rage was obviously his grief over seeing his sister in a coma.
Nana actually reminds me a bit of Dutta *shudders* That's creepy, in a way.

RED: So finally you have started to understand him? Chalo he singing himself hoarse "Ana mere pyar ko na tum jhoota samjho jana" kuch to rang laya 👍🏼

Blue: Now there's a thought! Yes why should we absolve her of everything, people present in a scene of crime do fall within the purview of suspicion.

Purple: If only you had heard a love ballad!!(wistful) We would probably have gotten something deeper than a 1 sec eye lock 😍

Burnt Sienna: I agree with you there. Thinking of Nanasaheb today made me shudder too at how much the two are alike! Same Dhoka mindset.

Red: You forgot the most important word in that song, Mooner. "Ana, mere fatherly pyaar ko na tum jhoota samjho jana." Well, to a certain extent, I do pity the man. Imagine losing everything you hold dear in one night. I'd want to do some blaming too.
Blue: Exactly. I mean, all three were there for some reason. How did Rupali end up in that situation in the first place. I don't buy the whole "in love" excuse. There's serotonin involved in that one. She could've taken some Prozac instead of falling in love with a chicken.
Purple: The heavenly choir was loud and clear and lasted throughout the whole scene. How did the sleepy couple miss it?
Burnt Sienna: Yes. Same anger management issues, too.

Blue: I'mma brickbat.
Burnt Sienna: Word, Mooner. Things are never as simple as they might seem. Especially humans. Whatever Nana did since that fateful day when he saw his sister in a coma, he did it out of grief na. But with the years, I believe that the grief turned into this poison infecting his mind as, like you said, even with all the underworld power he wasn't able to catch Damodar. The frustration, desperation, and hell-fury that must've filled him could've only grown as it was never resolved in the first place. I see many shades of black in Nana's character, just as I saw many shades of black in Kala. But the grey tones are really fascinating, because they lean more toward him being human than anything else.
Indeed. Many psycho factors about Nana. The twisted logic, but also the cold and calculating mind of his. It's almost as if he has dedicated his entire life to get his revenge on Damodar. It's pitiful and pathetic.
Pink: Indeed, he does. Just as Kala enjoyed playing God. But unlike Kala, Nana (as you mentioned in your post) has something a lot more human inside of him. The brotherly love for Rupali - which is still alive, even following all those years of hate, revenge, and betrayal. How did the man manage to sustain such a human emotion when he had dedicated his life to the destruction of Dutta? Doesn't it require intense evil to focus your whole life on the bane of another human?
I doubt that he keeps Rupali alive in order to keep his desire for revenge alive. He doesn't seem all that insecure to me. Oh no. The man needs no reminder of how much he despises Damodar and all that is connected to him. It does seem as his love for Rupali is as strong as it ever were and that he has hopes of seeing her wake up one day - or perhaps no hope, but being the one who shuts down the machine that's keeping her breathing might not be easy for him to do?
Purple: Word again, Mooner. The man hasn't reflected over his life at all. He's stuck. Which, again, makes me find him pitiful and kind of tragic in a psychotic way.
Brown: I believe that if Nana was a criminal investigator, or even anywhere near rational thinking, he might've tried to analyze the stab wounds and investigated the whole crime further. But having just returned to find his sister in a coma, his people telling him that Damodar did it, the knowledge that Ramdas had also died at the scene and Damodar escaped, and having had that suspiciously odd conversation with Damodar over the phone a few days before - it all led to the accusation that Damodar is the culprit.
But you're right, Mooner. Damodar and Nana seemed to be close friends. Really close. How come Nana didn't - even for a second - doubt that Damodar could've done such a thing to his sister?
Violet: Really? It reminds me of a song Drusilla used to sing on the TV show Buffy. "Run and catch. Run and catch. The lamb is caught in the blackberry patch." But yours is way creepier. The Judas' Kiss *shudders*
Orange: LMAO 🤣
