Now I am serious.

I have already said to you that my choice is any role played by Uttam Kumar. I am giving you a very short list of them. Some of them were remake in Bolywood earlier. You can't believe what is the range.

1. Nishipadma - Amar Prem ( Rajesh Khanna)

2. Lal Pathar - Lal Patthar ( Raj Kumar)

3. Shaheb Biwi Golam – Shaheb Biwi Gulam (Guru Dutt)

4. Chadmabeshi – Chupke Chupke (Dharmendra)

5. Debdas - Debdas ( Jackie Shroff)

6. Agniswar (Serious )

7. Chowringhee (Serious)

8. Nayak ( the inner insecurities of a lonely SuperStar and his consciousness of the limitations of his 'powers' )

10.Harano Sur ( Romantic )

He is know more with us since 1980. Still he is Mahanayak of Bengal. MR's style is quite similar like UK. they both are play with their eyes. I want to see MR like UK.

great choice and apt comparison..👏.....i have seen Uttam Kumar movies on the telly and he is a terrific actor..👍🏼......simple and handsome in his own way and a charmer too much like our Datta/MR. Great idea girl.

IMO MR would be brilliant in the 'strong, silent, brooding' type of characters. The roles that come straight to my mind are Amitabh Bachhan in 'Shakti', 'Kala Pathar' and 'Mili'... ummm.. 'Trishul'.
Zanjeer and Deewar too.

I would also love to see him in some more contemprory movies, especially 'Omkara' and Dev D. He would have been great in a movie like RDB too.The kind of roles that KK does in movies like Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi and others will also suit him to a T.

It will be great to see Mishal play Uttam Kumar's roles.

UK was a great actor.. what screen presence and class. I have managed to catch a few of his movies on the Bengali channels..wow is the word👏

I am big fan of Uttam Kumar too, I sometimes find a lot of Mishal's mannerisms similar to UT.

What is this yaar, he didnt look like romantic hero,he might play antihero gangster, like ajay devgan (sultan) role in O.U.T.I.M. Btw black suit instead of white.
