then he sang....i remember how apprehensive and skeptical everyone was at the prospect of Dutta singing like amitabh and here i was jumping around in the forum frm post to post saying murad hui puri and justifying that if dutta can play harmonica so well maybe he can sing too..and that it would look great onscreen with his morose air if he sings a sad kishore hit....and Cvs didn't disappoint every shot of the song was heart wrenching..especially when he walked around nakku in circles and poured sharsb in the bonfire...with eye contact with her...his pain was more like why can't i stop loving her so damned much...why do i need her to breathe...what is it that makes her so mine...so dear and so so so precious she lied to me..why can't my heart listen to my brain and hate her...
i would have loved it there was a dutta nakku scene after the bonfire....it would have been great...like dutta woudl have been all disturbed about baaji putting the gun on his head and dutta was feeling guilty about it...on the other hand kala had taunted nakku and tried to burn dutta's jacket that nakku had rescued with little burn on her hand...
Suppose Dutta in his restlessness walks out of his room towards the garden and nakku is coming inside from the garden the kinda bump into each other near the swing...dutta reaches out to steady her and is the usual brute by being rude and not meeting her eyes..
Dutta- Tu bahar kya kar rahiu thi? soyi kyun nahi ab tak?
Nakku- ji, saab main..wo...(she looks down at her hands tongue-tied)
Dutta out of the corner of his eyes watches her and follows her gaze. he notices the burned jacket..and the dark red angry marks on her hands. Dutta barks out- yeh kya hua? tera haath kaise jala (He reaches out and grabs her hands making her drop his jacket)
He forgets in his agitation that ehr hands must be tender with burns and remembers when she winces in pain..he loosens his hold and tenderly holds up the hands in light apologetic with his eyes for causing her pain. Dutta- kya hua? bol. Nakkus shakes her hand trying to free her hands- kuch nahi. Dutta holds on to her hand fast- to ye jala kaise?
Nakku- wo mere haath se aapka coat aag mein gir gaya..main usko bujha rahi thi...toh..
Dutta looks at her angrily- bewakoof ladki...ek jacket ke liye apna haat jala liya...
Nakku- main theek hai saab..aapko chinta karne ki jarurat nahi...hum aauroto ko rasoi mein aise jalne kaatne ki aadat hoti hai..
Dutta silently looks her down making her go quiet. he hold her rwist and leads her to teh kitchen. HE then switches on the cold tap and hold ehr hand under the flow of water tenderly soothing the burns..then he helplessly looks around for first aid kit..he finds it in a corner and brings it to her applying the anti burn ointment slowly on her red welts..they both look into each others eyes....she with her love for him shining thereand he with his helpless longing....

Oh !! I really did not want to post on this one.. . Because updating the current epis I seem to feel more sorry if I watch the older ones and I cannot really connect and your post just brought out some memories which were so good, but right now they only clog my throat and give me heart burns, But Shilpita yaara, when I saw this post I just could not resist...had to come ...Oh!! you just wrote a short OS in this scene and how we wish it had gone that way😳
There are so many scenes which the directors have left to our imagination...I dont know sometimes I feel that is good in a way...we can fill in the colours we want...and have our own Tasha scenes...😊
But that is enough bak bak...I come to the point... *sigh* so many scenes...how can one decide😳...
But one scene that has always stood out to me ... was the washing of haldi scene...where Nakku comes and sits on her hinges in front of Dutta to wash away the haldi and is all sad and heartbroken but is still trying to smile, and Dutta scoots a bit forward, searches her eyes which Nakku is avoiding to meet with his, and asks her 'Sab Kucch thik hai na?? Nazarein kyun nahi mila rahi hai??' and even as I think of this scene, my heart goes *whoosh*....the chemistry, the pathos, the eye contact and the voice modulation...amazing ...
The care Dutta shows for a maid in his house, the respect he gives her as her friend, the way he is not even bothered what his fiancee🤢 will thing if he is asking Nakku to meet his eyes...the way he is not bothered what the guests will think why is he giving so much importance to a maid in the house, the way he is giving thought to a maid's behaviour even on one of the happiest days of his life, the way he gazes in her eyes, the way he smiles, the way he shows his concern and tells her he is not letting her go simply finishing the ceremony, the chemistry between them...perhaps it was the first time their faces were so close😳...Nakku's sadness in stark contrast with Dutta's happiness, yet the care, the bond, the selflessness, the love they shared was all reflected in that one moment... and I can go on and on and on...Where is that story...😭
See that is why I did not want to comment on this post..but Shilpi your last post made me do this... I so hate you for that
