WOW what brilliance from MR and MV in protraying their hurt and pain and the level of hurt and anger D brings across, excellent voice modulation from MR.⭐️

I like the way N stammers and says 'saab ma ma where shall i start from and where to finish'

Then she says i'll find you a girl because i am not equal to your status ( me shouting of course you are)

then D says what about you and she says i will always be here as your friend (so heartbreaking to see N will sacrifice D to see him successful)

then D says at the end that your tears always make me weak such good acting as always by MR/MV👏

This one's also my fav. Both MR nd MV came good in this scene. The hesitation, the fear nd the enormity of the situation is very well depicted by Mahi. And MR toh is speechless when he says 'tu kuch bol nahi rahi hain aur mere samaj mein kuch aanahi raha hain, mere andar ka toofan badraha hain nakku'. He is upset that she offers to remain in PN as his friend nd will look for a suitable bride for him. She only says that she is not worthy of him. Dutta is raged nd confused at the same time. She refuses to say that she doesnt love him when he asks her nd this adds to his confusion. He reminds her that it was she who first confessed her love to him in front of everyone. He is unable to understand the reason for her rejection to his proposal nd leaves the house. This scene is very gripping nd ur not sure what dutta's reaction would be.

I'll mention a scene which I think no one has so far mentioned. It's the one where when they are about to get married the second time and Dutta is choosing his clothes. He puts the kurtas against himself and looks in the mirror at her seeking her approval.It was such an intimate kind of a scene where the man seeks his woman's approval on matters such as clothes--that kind of comfort and possessiveness apparent. And the fact that it was DUTTA,the angry, morose,macho man doing it that made it soo likeable. He even dutifully rejects whatever she didn't like muttering excuses. MR was soo goood. In fact all PN waasi were.Those days! I remember this scene even more so because someone had posted a very insightful analysis about the role reversal--that it's usually the woman who does the preening in front of the man but how LTL had taken a cliche and twisted it on its head. Dutta doing the preening since he was the beauty in their relationship.

WOW silkroute👏👏👏 beautifully put even i love that scene..even though during those days nakku was under lot of stress about her secret there was freshness and youthful quality to that scene...the way dutta turns the mirror and holds the clothes asking her approval was too cute...i am aghast that some ppl on the forum think that MR lacks expressions....they should watch this scene....not only this but even in his first show love story he has myriad expressions and fabulous acting.... sigh....India population really suffers fools gladly...what to do!!

Fantastic post, but makes me miss LTL so much more.....but it is nice to read all the Tasha scenes and relive all our favorite moments. Am sure we will cover all tasha scenes by the time this thread is completed.Thanks Shilpi for coming up with it.

One of my all time favorite Tasha moment is the last part of the JMM1. Just wanted to add my thoughts to this, am sure this is a favorite scene for a lot of us.As D and N are walking on the road, Nakku and Dutta are both going thru inner turmoil....Nakku realizes that Dutta will keep his word and hand her over to her Aai , and that will be the last she might see of him. She is shown having an argument with her concious whether she shd reveal hertrue self to Dutta, since at that moment that is the only truth hidden from him. She's wondering that she might not get a chance to tell it to him again.

On the other side , Dutta recalls all of Nakku's advice on Love, Jagtap's words about how if a person betrays you, then they were not your true love atall.which makes Dutta realize that Seema and Supriya might not be his true love afterall. in Jagtap's words, when you finally face you love you will not run anymore. You cannot hide from it,he sees the Koyal Nakku, who claims to love him and only him.

His heart tells him to stop her, he does not know the reason, why or what, but he realizes that by loosing her , he will loose a part of himself.He can't explain it to himself... yet....he just knows that he has to stop her......and the way they keep looking at each other as he stops her and walks towards her was just amazing......

And then my favorite part.....The eyelock.....it was so intense, as Dutta is walking towards Nakku, out of the blue Baaji comes in between...and the instant reaction from Dutta is that of dissappointment.....But he quickly composes himself, maybe realizes that Baaji must have also been worried for him and he smiles as he hugs Baaji.And as Baji tell him that from now on he will be his Shadow, Dutta instinctively looks at Nakku, as if sayng that he already has his Shadow, his partner. All the while maintains his eye contact with Nakku, who also does not break the contact. I felt Nakku was trying to capture as much of Dutta as possible, since she knew that after this there was nothing to keep them together, she could just live the rest of her life with the memories of him. And then when she breaks the Eye contact, Dutta's expression chances so subtly...as if saying how dare she....Totally loved that scene.......

Another of my favorite scene is the 16th spetember scene when he gets food to break Nakkus Fast. Nakku is reminiscing all her moments with Dutta and she is hoping and praying for Bappa to show her the right way, She so badly wants the one lie between them go away...and when he asks her what she is thinking about she mentions that if the clouds disperse, the moon will be visible. And for Nakku her moon is her Saab....so she wants the cloud of her secret to go away, so she can finally look up at her moon with a clear conscience.

Loved the way Dutta got her food knowing that she has not broken her fast.The slight smile on Dutta's face.......and Nakku thinking back to the JMM1 when he got her the fruits....very apt. And I guess this is the one scene where Dutta gets conscious that Nakku is looking at him intently...and ask "Aise kya dekh Rahi hai ?" was very cute......and the way he tells her that he learnt to take care of others and then corrects it to "Apno ka Kayal rakna....." from her, nakku must have felt elated that he does not consider her as an outsider anymore.

And then he wonders what she saw in him that made her love him, Becoz he did not have a very high opinion of himself, Since he would boss everyone around and makes decision for them without even consulting them. He did not think there was anything in him that was worth the love of anyone.Nakku is a little taken aback by this, since for her her Saab is perfect, and she assures him that she fell for his heart, since he has a heart of gold, and he always keeps the other person in mind while making a decision, even though it might not be very obvious. He is truly touched by Nakkus observation of him.

I am left thinking which one is the favorite of all the Tasha scenes as all of them I can watch any number of times with the same intensity.. every scene between dutta and nakku be it just an eye lock is so special.. they both (especially Mishal) have always been apt to portray their feelings most of the times mishal did that with his eyes only no dialogues needed..

All right, here is another one of my favorites...I watch it for its clumsiness on some levels but also to enjoy their physical proximity, which we didnt get a lot of :)
This was the scene where Naku is shot after the FR and she is lying down on their bed and Mr. Moody says that dont mistake this for love, i would have done this for anyone. Then follows a series of falls - the mangalsutra getting stuck and a frustrated Kala watching the 2 lovebirds getting close.

Here is what I loved about this whole sequence:
- Dutta refuses to make eye contact with Naku when he is spouting lines like I didnt do this for you...MR was fab in emoting that Dutta does not really mean it and he loves her like a madman.
- Naku was so fragile throughout that sequence that the clumsy execution of the falls didnt matter..it almost seemed like she wanted to fall so Dutta could catch her 😳
- The hym in the background when he lays her on the bed, was so apt, that it got some goosebumps going for me and finally when the mangalsutra got attached....Dutta's expressions were like - God also wants this - he is so frustrated that he just gives up and lets Naku follow through. Amazing chemistry...the screen was just sizzling.
- MV's - Naku expressions were just spot on...calm when saying that she did it for love and angry when Dutta was frustrated about the chain.
- Kala's face was worth watching when she saw their interactions...I almost got the feeling that she was jealous of Naku being so close to Dutta...her obsession with Dutta was bordering almost on incest just from that one scene.

One more down...more to come :)
