@Chinu: You can just try to enlighten them as much as you can on your end. Educate them about the importance of the show and what makes it work.. Give them feedback and hope it works. But in the end if they don't want to listen, toh koi kya karey.

Even so, I'm not giving up until they give me a reason to. As long as there's a chance k they'll grow some brain and with it some sense, I'll stick around and be optimistic.

Thanks HirkM for the update.

And Thanks a lot and congrats to Sara, Mussy, Huma and all the others who had mailed to them. Looks like our mails to the editors and on the FB page of TOI and HT has worked...

And now even they are taking notice of our efforts.......If not colors atleast someone is listening to us.....

This surely should be a wake up call for the colors channel. and they stop messing with LTL.

Wow such a good news in the morning, now colors will have to work to retain atleast this position, overdose of anything kills in the end, this is not the end but, this is what people like to see today, may be at IF we saw the future & started asking for this long back, credit goes to entire team, but amazing performance of MR & his chemistry with MV, with different subject has kept the channel with some saving grace. Even others like, what we like to watch we are on right track at IF.

@Fivr: I dont think we can change people's prejuidices. Unfortunately its a fact that Colors as an anti-LTL prejuidice in general and anti-MR prejuidice in particular. This will not go away easily. We can shout from rooftops...TRPs can tell their own story but they will not change their mind. But I also believe that atleast some people in the channel are in favor of the show and thats why the show has managed to survive for this long despite people working against it. But its sad that LTL's detractors are paid more attention to in Colors offices.

I don't know if their prejudices will never change.. I know they haven't changed yet but I still believe that there is always a possibility for change. So however bleak it may seem, I still hold hope. And that's the best thing to do at the moment - to hope for the best and prepare for the worst as they say.

But I'm sure this article would ring a bell in SOMEONE's ear.. Kisi na kisi ko toh farak parhey ga hi!! 😳😆

Ditto,i don't think the ch will risk ousting mr as none of their other shows are faring well and also the article clearly stated that the shows with rural backdrop are losing their fervour and colors has nothing else to offer.Be it on mishal's conditions or the ch condition's mr will have to stay 😊

@Fivr: I dont think they needed the article. Colors already had their reality check a while back. I am not saying from the LTL perspective but in general wrt to the type of shows they broadcast. Sometime back there was an interview of Ashwini Yardi in a rival site and she did mention that people's tastes have changed and they will adjust to the changes. The cancellation of Kudesan was a proof to what sort of change in people's tastes she is talking about.
If Colors really wants to be back in the reckoning they must get replacement for shows like Bhagyavidhata, BV and Ladoo which are more in tune with the times. They must also leave LTL alone and primarily let the PH decide how they want to tell their story. Colors is far behind SP simply becuz last year they ignored their new shows and stuck to their favorite BUN whereas SP promoted new properties like SNS and SGP. Even this year Colors so far are more focussed on Phulwa which is again a story of a rural girl child. I am not sure if this is a good move on their part.
Coming to whether the prejuidices change or not...they do over time. Its upto the LTL team to change the prejuidices in their favor.
