I don't think naku doubts the two people. I guess Naku was testing Dutta whether he has learned to trust people because she did not look apprehensive about the two new entrants and also the way she whispered to him. Just my assumption.

@ Red: There we go again..again we are making Dutta sound like a petulant 5years old boy in his school half pants and school backpack and a mickey-mouse bottle around his neck..standing quietly beside nakku and looking at the new comers..😆..I am running to watch that.."mereko meri nakku chahiye" and "main sirf dahi khaunga" wala scenes..😆😉

Yep...nosy and curious like villagers are though with no harmful intention. If you have ever been to a village then you will know what I mean. They were more like 'who the heck are these people?'. Also they are apparently in the same area where Jagtap lived and knew him.
