Btw, talking of this all...the first time I heard that they all call their mother 'Aai Saheb' was very new for me! Hadn't ever heard of that before...
@Fatty: Lol! I thought AS was going to have a "royal" feel to her because of the way she was called "Aayi Sahib" and the sisters were called "Tai".. It was only after a couple of weeks that I finally got used to all those Marathi language bits and now toh they seem like they're a part of the show. But intially even I was so lost with all the Marathi words. 😆

Awwwwwww Muahhh! 😆.....I think Punjabi as a language reflects the earthy vibrancy of the Punjabi culture as well......yes Punjabis are generally considered loud and boisterous....I'd like to think fun :P.....lol.....but there is HEART in the language.....just like there is in its ppl.....affection like you said.....a warmth and affection that shines though :-) I love it like anything.....and yes I'm a proudly biased Punjabi😎😆

For me, Tai means the wife of the older uncle (dad's brother) 😆 Funny how words can vary so much from region to region, place to place, na?(EDT has turned into the cultural/language thread today 😆)

Seems so formal to me...very royal like Fivr said 😊(EDT has turned into the cultural/language thread today 😆)

Word.....thehrao is the word.....the dialogues were nice to begin with.....but the WAY MR delivered them.....the wealth of emotion.....SINCERITY of emotion with which he plays Dutta.....that is what touches my heart like anything......he's truly fantastic at bringing such variation and layering to the simplest of gestures and lines that they become something worth treasuring as you watch.
And yeah....I too wonder if he's a trained actor.....that is the one piece of information that I can't recall him mentioning in any interview......seems like no one asked him?😕😆

Talking about his acting skills 😆 .....just noticed two things that kinda stood out for me as I re-watched the episode ...first when D wakes up ....just watch his face expressions...the little discomfort due to the bright light despite the blindness.....brilliantly done and then when they are walking and D trips over and he assures Naku and says "Mein theek hoon".....which he says twice.....love the delivery....so much realism in the way he said it 😍

LOL way too many Punjabis in this thread right now.....from both sides of the border I'm guessing.....lol cuz I too know "tai" as wife of father's older brother.....lol
Toh saare mil ke bolo....."lokeen duniya ch vasde bathere, Punjabiyan di shaan vakhri"😎😆
