No dear, there is nothing wrong with moving on once you get better opportunities...Our issue is that the he has been mistreated by the channel who wants to convey the image that Mishal is leaving for betterment.Didn't he mentioned the same that he wants to leave for films. Some time back when I had left my job my companies directors behaved very badly with me. The threatened me not to leave. They sent notice to me as well. But as I know nothing can stop an individual. Case is bit similar here... channel is going to crib, finally he is destroying their productivity in a manner. Why only Colors, every channel would do the same. This also means probably no channel will trust him for any daily soap now unless he doesn't sign any bond. Probably he doesnt want to do dailies anymore. He has just used it as step to go ahead. That's why I said he must be financially secure to take such step. But that's life one has to cope with it and move. Even MR is doing the same.
I was trying my best to stay away from this thread, but can no longer do so! I have not read all the replies posted, but there is overwhelming support for Mishal to stay on as Dutta. Everyone has said in numerous words about how he has done so much for Dutta's role, has lived this role and played it exceptionally well. There is nothing I can add to that aspect of the discussion anymore as it has been well documented by several of you here.
But when someone questions his intentions and his desire to leave the show when the man in question himself has denied this it hurts and then it angers me. I have been keeping away from IF in the last week, as this forum is now a pale shadow what a vibrant place it used to be to hang out. Full of life, healthy discussions, varied topics to discuss whereas in the past few weeks, slowly it has started turning negative and into a battleground. Again just my pov and do not mean to cause any offence to anyone here. Everyone has the right to their pov, but what irks me is that just one or two 'well-wishers' of LTL can cause us so much worry. Why? We all have seen MR's interviews and he has come across as mature, understanding and a straight forward person. When there have been so many articles defaming him, it takes a lot of self belief and guts to keep quiet. He could have come out and cleared his name, but felt that doing so only gives undue importance to such useless, negative characters. And as fans I think we should take a leaf out of his book and do the same. Just stop responding to such absurd comments/posts which are solely created to rile us and nothing else. And as we all are emotionally attached to MR/Dutta, we all stand up for him, which in turn stops us from concentrating on the show and enjoying one of the best phases in LTL. And this is probably what such people set out to do, cause an uproar with such comments and deviate our energies into this and stop admiring the very show which brought us all together.
What I admire about MR is that he could speak up anytime. But he is being what he is and keeping quiet. But just cos he is quiet, these people need to know that he is not taking a step back. In fact it takes a lot more guts to keep quiet in the face of such criticism and baseless stories..and Mishal is answering his critics and these so-called 'well-wishers' of him in the best manner possible.. portraying Dutta in a manner that touches our soul and concentrating on his work and let his work speak for itself. I don't think the cast or PH are to blame here as in some other interviews everyone on the sets incl the cast/director were vocal about how understanding and co-operative he is as an actor. He is an actor with a mind of his own and heart in its right place in this field, which unfortunately has not gone down well with certain people. But in the end, his goodness will be with him and all these best wishes will be with him more than any negativity spread by any people around. Seeing how much of a positive person he is, I am sure he wants his fans to be positive too and not get bogged down by all this. I am sure he wants us to enjo0y the show and appreciate and enjoy all the hard work he has done in giving us Dutta.
So please let's just focus on his good honest work and get back to enjoying the show. I am sure Mishal will be touched that so many people love him so much and wish him so well in life. All these good wishes will go a long way in his life J
BUT we need to ensure that we support him to the hilt as he has not said that he wants to leave and I believe him! Just wishful thinking on the part of some people that without Mishal LTL will still be a success. Mishal was, is and will always be the soul of LTL. When people remember years later about LTL, one name that would always spring to mind will be Mishal and there is no denying the fact that his immense talent and hard work and dedication has got him what he has today and no one will ever be able to take these things away from him as this the foundation on which Mishal stands and that looks pretty rock solid J
LOVED ITTTTTTTTTTT................just wanted to hear this..............aahhhhhhhhhhhh.............here it comes...............focus on the show............will keep our mission but will not let negativity come in.............and take the things as it comes............😊.Originally posted by: prettywoman

@Triasha.. I am sure Mishal is seriously touched by what all of us fans are doing for him, but I also feel along with keeping up the pressure to have him on the show on Dutta, we need to focus on the show too as that is what he can give us as an actor and we need to appreciate and support his hard work. So, yes, work is two fold for us fans as we need to keep up the pressure in our own way mailing channels, PH etc, but not waste our energies on such useless negative posts as it is taking away our positive energies from doing best what we should do, i.e., support Mishal and the show.. and trsut me there is no replacement for all the positive vibes out here for Mishal! I truly think he is a gem :)
