"Raat kitni bhi kaali ho, subah hum Nakku ke chehre pe muskaan dekhenge..." Such a beautifully written dialogue to describe her, isn't it? (*ahem* we'll ignore who said it though, thank you very much 😆) I have to laud Nakku for her calmness, her confidence, her peace despite hardship...it's admirable, to say the least...for a woman whose husband comes home drunk on so many nights, for whom the nights really do seem pitch dark, her ability to withstand challenges and failures with the same serene smile is so striking.

Favourite moment in the episode for me came with the cliched, "Janam janam ka saath hai humara'...what an amazing reaction Dutta had to it...his head snaps up at those words of deep faith, they jolt him out of his pensiveness...and in that instant moment, DN's old bg music began playing, which was just so, so beautiful to hear. There's something about that tune...it's so warm and uplifting and reassuring...it embodies the sweet victory in DN's story which comes after rising against all odds that have challenged their relationship so far...today, it signified that power of love, Nakku's love, which is drawing on Dutta even on days in which he is lost and a shadow of himself...even though Nakku refuses to see him, her words and ideas and emotions are resonating within him through other people.
