Mahi Vij popularly known as Nakusha from 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' got a chance to express her feelings for Mr. Khiladi of Bollywood. Mahi is a contestant on Sony TV's 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4' and met her favorite star Akshay Kumar as the 'Tees Maar Khan' team was present at the opening episode.
According to sources, Mahi's performance on a peppy song impressed Akshay and the TV actress said that she always decided to marry a man who would resemble the superstar.
Mahi also finds similarity between Jay Bhanushali with whom she is reportedly engaged and Akshay as when both of them smile their gums can be seen. That's really worth noticing Mahi and we love your observation skills too!
 | I feel very lucky to have been considered for Jhalak Dikhhla Ja. Being selected along with Ragini (Suhana from Sasural Genda Phool) and Ankita (Archana from Pavitra Rishta) is great and I am really looking forward to the competition. People have so far seen me as Nakusha, wearing ethnic clothes. Here I will get an opportunity to show a different side of me, a cool side. I will get to showcase different looks and styles and I hope the audience adores me in that just as they have in my show. I love wearing tees and jeans, so this will be closer to what I am off camera. "The first time I performed in front of the judges, I was very nervous. I was eating chocolates back stage. (Laughs). But when I went on the stage I just wanted to perform and do my best. I did my best and got good comments from the judges. It is nerve wrecking to perform in front of them." Savio, my choreographer, is a great guy; Very patient and very understanding. He is a family guy and due to my schedule has to come at odd hours to rehearse. But he's supportive and a very good dancer. I am looking forward to many more such performances with him. As far as my fellow contestants go, they are all great. Sushant and Ankita, I know from before, but I hope to make new friends over the next few weeks on this show. |
