Getting physical with anybody is bad...be it Kala or be it Bajirao....I like Dutta's cold and still look...he did not like Naku making a fool of herself, he could have asked someone to escort her out of the hall in a very thunderous voice....Dutta is anyway refusing to buy Naku's side of the story, one more point added to her list of crime, if it is crime at all.
Regarding Dutta's cold blooded killings...he is a don...but a kind hearted don....he kills the wrong doers but respects his wife, his family...we have connected to him because he is a good son, brother, friend....
All I want to say in a country like India where we worship the mother god but beat of our women in the slightest provocation, in the name of high drama the channel and the PH could have behaved more responsibly...we should not accept all the crap they serve us and demand right to proper entertainment!

And why weren't we this vehement when Kala slapped Naku?
A man hitting a woman is something despicable, but I don't know why...y'day it seemed quite in character for Dutta. I didn't find it odd at all. If Kala can hit Naku for supposedly betraying her brother(to save her own skin actually)...can't Dutta slap her to bring her back to her senses?
I would've been surprised if Dutta hadn't reacted the way he did. His anger, don't we all know what he is capable of when angry? This is the same man who dragged the poor girl and forcibly married her when he thought she'd betrayed him. The same man who manhandled her on the first night after their wedding.
The problem is, we have placed Dutta on this pedestal. Well, he himself said that he will not stand anyone hitting his wife. Double standards?? Or maybe, he meant he will not stand anyone other than him touching her!😆
Dutta is capable of being a beast, when provoked. We've seen enough examples. So, we can forgive him for killing men in cold blood as long as he stays sane around his wife?!! No, that wouldn't do for me. For a character, or a person to grow...they first have to sink rock bottom. Unless they've done the most despicable things, and unless they live to regret it...they can never truly heal. I am not justifying Dutta's actions, I'm just asking you to look at what motivates a character like Dutta. In his case, emotions have always ruled over reason. Which is why he's never stopped to think why someone like Naku would try and make a complete fool of herself.
For me, Dutta's reaction y'day signified his anger, and a hint of possessiveness. More than anything, it was because she is his wife. The woman he loves. When it comes to Naku, Dutta can never think straight. She does something to his brain I suppose! I'm hoping he'll drag her to the room and continue the drama there. Well, if it's gonna be out in the open, that's also okay with me. AS LONG AS we have a confrontation!!!

👏👏 Liz you have revived the old memories.........how can we ever forget kala slapped nakusha to save her own skin........why is it such a big issue that dutta slapped nakusha.......why r we seeing it as man vs woman.........it was his instant reaction..........It would have been bad , had it been intentional........but he stopped from further embarrassment n trying to make her sensible.........I m in for confrontation be it public or private.............but most importantly I want dutta to take nakusha inside the room, close his door........why they show kala janchoing from here n there........they r couple...they should do everything privately........I feel nakusha's word will echo in his mind , heart, n body if she confront him lonely......because we know kala is the one who will come up with words that spoil dutta's mind.......

Tintiny, you are right in your own way. But we forget that LTL is after all, a drama. It has never preached what is right or wrong. In fact there is no single character which is flawless. The reason why LTL stands out is because its characters are honest. They do not do what we want to see. Instead they act on their impulses.
Dutta or Naku's character was never created to set an example. The motive behind creating such characters is something deeper. We are so used to seeing perfection onscreen. The ever suffering DIL, or wife who never raises a voice against her husband and family. Or the lover who silently sacrifices his/her love for greater purposes. The reason we have characters like Dutta and Naku is to reaffirm our faith in redemption and good. Dutta has seen the darkest of nights, and yet he deserves redemption. Nakusha has been stupid, naive, and a coward too, but she will rise beyond all that.
I believe that the most soulful story is that which talks about the triumph of the human spirit. With all the flawed characters in it, LTL is doing exactly that!
If I wanted to see paragons of virtue(male and female), I'd watch YRKKH. Ouch. 😆

Behind closed doors I am ready to accept though not physical beating up...maybe a push or a hard grip....all I want to say when you are showing the lead characters in action, be more responsible as people get influenced by them....
Beating up of wife is still very much there in India....one of my good friend walked out of her 14 years old marriage because she could not take anymore beatings, we never knew about it till she told us...it was like sky falling suddenly....
If they show beating then they should also show the action taken by Nakusha thereafter but will the story work out with Nakusha leaving Dutta for good??

😆😆😆 I like Dutta's character because he is flawed....and yes I too cannot connect with YRKKH, never seen a complete episode of it....'aap' aap' business does not go down well with me 😉 I like Dutta as he is flawed lekin itna bhi nehi dikhao where as a woman you cannot connect with him....I accept he has got every right to be angry, upset ....but then you have to stop somewhere....

Tin I guess thats the beauty of Naku's character...she has never been shown to stand up against anyone. Only thing she ever does is fight for her love even with himself. But when it comes to herself she is undemanding. In a way she is also responsible for making Dutta self centered. But then she does this because she knows him inside out. She knows he cannot be made to do anything he doesnt want to. She walking out/taking action will not change his mind. But he will surely realize his mistakes later. And when he does he will make up for it and love her like no one else can.

@ bold ...my thoughts exactly... we connected to him because he was goood family man to say the least... in spite of having a demented psycho family, he was good to them...and dutta hitting nakku was not the only remedy... in the past when he didnot like sups singing....he had just left the party.... granted he was not in love with sups like he is with nakku... but i really dont advocate love and possessiveness through violent behavior....and especially knowing she was under medication.... she could have lost senses without drinking too... heavy medication does that to you....and slapping an injured woman is bad....and since when does making a public spectacle becomes a crime in dutta's books.???? and what kind of demented logic is that you allow a party in your house when your wife has been shot???
@ red...you are absolutely right...we cannot accept this...it is not only against dutta's character ...it is also turning him into a hypocrite and that is character assassination...

@ in red 😲 ?????? Tin,honestly is this a rambling, ranting or have you really understood Dutta's character .........He is a person with whom every woman would love to fall in love with,to marry and to spend an eternity with....

He respected nakusha for her inside beauty and not the way she looks, he gave her respect and love that is the right of every human being without any inhibitions or reservations. In the earlier episodes, and i am talking of like february-march episodes and also dutta's intro scene - dutta jumped to rescue nakusha from morey and to save her honor and then again, when nakusha was in her fair avatar and was trying to save herself from morey's goons,he promptly rushed to save her and not look the other way around.Seriously, these days this is a rarity and you won't often find men to save a damsel in distress and rush to save her.

so what's now? jab naku ko hosh aaega & kala asual use bat karne aegi to kya naku ye kahegi; ki " mujhe saab ne thappad mara aur isse mujhe ye pata chala ki saab ko meri aaj bhi parva hai vo apni patni ko is tarah se kisi ke samne beizat hote hue nahi dekh sakte 😕"
