Naku woke Dutta up, but he was in such a deep sleep that he didn't even notice. Naku eventually got tired of callin ghis name, and angrily put down the tray of tea she was holding, and pinched his arm as hard as she could.
"Oww!" Dutta leaped back and hit his head on th wall, "Aaah!"
"Serves you right" Nakku snorted"
"What did you do that for?"
"I was standing like this for like 5 minutes and you don't even open your eyes!"
"Sorry" Dutta said, holding his ears.
Naku looked as if she might, just might forgive him, but he spoilt the effect by yawning in her face. SHe pouted and growled at him, "You drink your tea and get ready, everyone is waiting for you downstairs"
"Wait, we will go together"
"No, I have to prepare the meal today, as it is my first day after marriage"
"You can't cook! What if something happens. No you aren't taking any risks!"
"But I have to, what am I going to say to AS?"
"We will tell her..."
"That just after the first night of our marriage, I am pregnant?" she said sarcastically
"No Naku, you aren't cooking"
"Coochi, what would happen from a little bit of food?" said Nakku, discovering that she would have to pacify Dutta if she didn't want to be humiliated in front of everyone.
"Okay fine, I will come with you and you can tell me what to do and I will make the food"
"YOU? You'll make food? It will be even worse than Roops!"
"Then, make a servant do the hard stuff"
"I have to do all of the work myself though"
"Please Nakku"
"Theek hai baba, I will make the servants do the hard work, fine?"
"Thanks Nakku"
She smiled and turned to go.
"Ek minute"
"hmm...what?"
Dutta walked to Nakku, held her shoulder, and pulled her towards himself.
"Naku, always remember that you are holding my property"
"Mmmm....hmmm"
"See, you have my life in your hands, and you have no right to damage my life, Naku, hasn't your aayi taught you not to harm other people's belongings?"
"Yes, but whats the connection...?"
"Same way, you can't harm yourself or the baby, promise that you will take the best care possible of my jaan?"
She smiled as he bent his forehead down and touched her forhead gently. She pecked him quickly, softly on the lips and went away, blushing.

Naku stood at the edge of the table as the servants served everyone with the food she had made. Even though she had made food many times for the family, this was different. She fiddle with her ring as AS took the first bite of the food.
"Naku beti, it's wonderful, as it always was" AS smiled and gave Naku her blessings and a small gift of jewellery.
"Bhau, shouldn't we start buying the hneymoon tickets?" Baji joked.
Naku blushed while Dutta glowered at Baji. Baji hesitated, and then burst out laughing, and so did the rest of the PN wasis.
"What Baji, is saying is true, bhaiya, you have to take bhabi on a honeymoon" Madhu giggled. Naku looked apprehensively at the looks of admirationthat Baji was giving Madhu.
"No, Nakusha is unwell, she can't travel" Dutta said.
"Why beta, what happened to her?" AS said, worried.
"You know that she feel, AS, I don't want her to take any sort of stress" Dutta said, looking here and there, so he won't be caught lying
AS nodded understandingly and instructed Naku to go up to her room and take rest.
"No, its ok" Naku tried to object but AS inssisted and she went.

Naku was looking at baby pictures in her room, sipping on her cup os coffee. A knock on the door startled her and she spilt the hot coffee on herself and the album of baby pictures. She screamed as the coffee touched her skin, and burnt her, but she managed to quickly chuck the album under the bed incase it wasn't Dutta. Dutta barged in and rushed towards Nakku frantically.
"Kya hua, why did you scream? OMG! You burnt yourself" Dutta didn't give Naku a chance to reply, and grabbed a towel and started dabbing her arm, which was all red. AS and Kala came in wondering why Dutta was yelling.
"Kya hua Bhau?" Kala asked.
"Naku got burnt! Bring the first aid kit!"
"I am fine" Naku whined, irritated by the chaos caused by a little burn.
"No you're not" Dutta snatched the first aid box from Kala's hands and started bandaging Naku's hand. After he was done, he slowly caressed her arm, massaging it. "Are you okay?"
"Yes! I am fine"
AS stood watching and smiled at the display of affection in front of her. How pleased was she to know that Dutta loved Naku so much. Kala tapped her fingers on the table impatiently, waiting to be allowed to go back into her room.

It was night, Naku couldn't sleep. She was pacing about the room, getting bored. Dutta was asleep soundly on the bed, and he hadn't noticed that naku wasn't next to him.
"Kumbhkaran kahin ka. Sleeps all the time!" SHe grumbled. She couldn't wait any longer and whacked Dutta's back hard. "Get up!"
"Why, it is not morning yet" Dutta mumbled.
"But I am bored and I want to be entertained. Anways, who in India sleeps so early? It is only 10 pm"
"You are so stubborn" Dutta got up and pulled Naku on top of him"
"What are you doing?"
"Loving you...got a problem?"
Naku blushed and rested her head on his chest. There was a harsh, loud knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Nakku called.
Dutta got up to check who it was. "Is there a problem?" He asked as he opened the door. Kala stepped in with some papers in her hand, looking furious.
