LTL has been one the best pieces of fiction I have seen in a long time. I have watched many different dramas on various different channels but something about LTL stands out than every other story on TV right now.
The best thing about LTL is its characters and how they actually most resemblant to real-life people. They have emotions, problems, jealousy that, Yes have a tinge of fantasy in yet are at the majority of times easy for us to understand and connect with.
Main Thoughts/Ideas/Problems:
1) TaSha:
Dutta And Nakusha have such a beautiful relationship, and when most needed it isn't explored beyond a certain point.. as if there is a right moment sort of hinderance. Since the proposal Dutta and Naku have spent less and less time together? The move into the bedroom was brilliant as it was getting them into a cosy and comfortable habit but I was disappointed to see that the following week Naku had packed her bags and she was moving back out? It didn't seem to make any sense of reversing the intial actions. The reasons given within the show too didn't seem to make sense. All the viewers know that Naku and Dutta are married so wouldn't the re-marrying be just for TaSha's satisfaction that their was no force and purely for love they were renewing their wedding vows?
2) Cameo's:
I really have praised and appreciated most of the cameo's in LTL, till now as they have been expectional, however with Dutta's father Damodar it seemed wasted.
I remember an episode when LTL first introduced Dutta and his family together, it mentioned quite clearly that Dutta knew he wasn't AS son and his sisters weren't his real sisters either, yet when Damodar entered it was played out that Dutta had been kept in the total dark about his identity and he had been certain all his life that he was infact AS and Shriram Patil's son?
Tinnu Anand portrayed the character of Damodar very well but something lacked with the story and the way in which the story was enacted. It seemed un-prepared and not worth anything as it has not ultimately changed anything? Apart from Kala being brought home and the addition of Madhu to the family. Nothing constructive came out of Damodar's cameo.
Secondly, I feel that the enterance was actually un-necessary. I personally wasn't a huge fan of Baji and Roops however it was much more bearable than having Madhu's character enter.
From the first impression, the editing, direction and many other things were rushed and hasty. I think Soni Singh is a good actress but here she just did not fit in as Dutta's long lost sister.
The way she came in and started being so friendly and fun-going, it was just totally unrealistic. Her trying to hug Dutta immediately was painful to watch because the build up of an episode or so for the character had been so much and expectations had been set so high that it was eventually disasterous to see it all kind of go down hill.
I would have to say that Madhu should just be here for a short time and if the creatives do intend of wanting her part of the story then not with Baji because it doesn't work at all. Baji and Roops were far better together and Neetu is a magnificant actress.
She was annoying as Kala's follower but the identity that she began to build and her showing her side of positivity was actually great and something interesting to watch.
3)Babi:
Babi's character was one who was very inspiring and straight talking street wise mother who knew right from wrong. Lately that characterization has slowly began to disappear and now we have an irritating woman who makes no sense. Her illogical reasoning with things is annoying and upsetting. Please bring back the original character whom we could understand. She is not only Naku's mother but her guide, best friend and simply alot so don't let her be butchered off.
4) Return Of Inspector Morey & Kala:
Despite his horrible and outragous behaviour, his character had a certain likeable factor and seeing that Naku's face is too be revealed I do hope that Morey is back. I would love to see Kala meeting him and him dealing that he would tell her the truth upon giving him Nakusha. He was important character on how Naku actually met Dutta at the beginning and it would make a whole of sense if Dutta actually heard why Morey wanted Naku so badly whilst being made aware of the truth.
About Kala and the other two sisters, I don't want them to know about Naku's real face first. We had that at Supriya's track whereby Kala found out the truth and changed the course of actions however here I would like to see Kala finding out with Dutta and the others or after.
5)Face Revelation:
The time is almost here from the biggest twist in LTL, however I don't want this to be messed up as we have waited so long and patiently for it.
>Please don't let Kala be the one manipulating the whole situtaion as always. Dutta is a don, gangster please give him some importance here and let him be first to know so he can decide whatever HE wants with a clear head.
>A different reaction from Dutta, everytime something has been revealed so far Dutta is in the same state, Drinking, angry and aggressive. Please let this be handled differently to the way he did with Supriya fiasco.. I do NOT want him marrying Naku in the same fit of anger.
>Do not change Naku too much! I have noticed that even when Naku goes into her dream-land sequences she is more proud, and overdone. Please keep her simple as she is now, because no matter what colour she is the real her is her personality which we all have connected with. If she is shown wearing outfits like Kala or Leela. I personally feel that she will lose her identity of character as Naku who was most beautiful in her simplest ways.
6) Baji and DuJi:
Baji seems to becoming a person of the past. The episodes in the past like Feb-Apr were really done well in terms of their relationship, however now its just being to lose the magic. The two are brilliant together onscreen and the recent episode whereby they went back to sort out the salesman was brilliant. More scenes like that please and please don't pair Madhu with Baji it just doesn't work.
7)Dutta Clothes/Naku's eyes:
Dutta's looks best in his pathani's and its different look to all others. Like Baji has his flower power kurta's. Dutta's pathani's are just the perfect fit.
I would love to see Dutta in outfits similar to the one he wore on his first episode but please not the brown jacket and checkered shirt.. He looked awful. Also his earrings/mudari's added to his personanality so please bring them back too.
I like Naku's outfits as they are simple.. Mahhi has beutiful eyes so please don't make her wear contacts and cover them with the brown ones.
