and frankly, i actually liked her a lot...I loved how BAAJI reacetd when she was introduced to him by AS...I was laughing when I imagined she would be his love interest...USKI TOH GAYI!! 🤣🤣🤣

And unlike many, I actually found her foreign breeding a breadth of freshness and quiet interesting to see the westenization blending in the earthiness...I am now curious too see how her western attitude would gel into Dutta's lifestyle....This is the feel that I got from the scene and I ended up with a smile on my face.....

And then I came to the forum and read about her ignoring DP's death, trying to hug her bro' whom she had never seen etc and I was like, Oh yeah!! stupid gal, didnt do anythign of the sort....How stupid....and I threw it as one more blooper because I myself forgot these aspects after watchign the scene....I guess u take the feeling with you from a scene!! I am looking forward to Madhu now!! Although I do feel the loss of Roops but Neet is so good in her act that she was successful in giving me the same old underdof feeling about her!!!

U got a valid point Megha. But we werent shown that DPs body was postmortemed. So how do u think Madhu who is in London at that time, got to know abt the poison?. Unless ofcourse someone saw what Kala did in that room. But then again if that person saw Kala filling in poison, why didnt he/she stop Kala right then and there.

The makers shouldve taken it slow, sply since this character is someone major and has the potential of turing the tide at PN. Her introduction shouldve been thought properly and shouldve directed better.THIS....exactly what is bothering me more....the fact that we all KNOW that this is a very important character who will in many ways shape the future of the dynamics within the family....her bond with Dutta, the love track with Baaji, allying with Naku and standing against the evil trio....these are all very crucial things in the coming future....toh itne important character ko properly kyun nahin introduce kiya? Why out of nowhere and kinda forced her "positivity" down our throats in a non-credible manner? And honestly I don't think the actress is right for this part.....yeah she's a modern, educated NRI types supposedly but why couldn't they have picked a softer faced actress with a better voice?? She's not suiting Dutta or Baaji in my opinion.

If u see the scene where AS points to the PN wasis and introduces to Madhu, u can see she is seing on direction and AS is seeing in another direction. What the hell. Seriously, how can someone direct so bad. One of them sure has squint eyes 😆, only that can explain that discrepency 😆.LMAO seriously?? I didn't even catch that bit....I should go look at it again😆

I guess its the direction to be blamed today. I'd say direction as well as writing....both were rushed....and somehow I'm starting to subscribe to the Roops being a double agent theory more too....was watching her expressions more closely today😆.....chalo even if her and Baaji aren't meant to be, her being a double agent would deffo make for a very interesting storyline on the side.

Like I said in another thread, she is either really so inhumanely gracious, accepting and forgiving, or just being treated as a one-dimensional robot to accommodate the story of the writers. It's amazing how we see her experiencing absolutely zero conflict keeping in mind the kind of things that have happened to her...she not only had to bring up 3 of her own girls, but also the son of her husband's murderer, and now traipsing in comes another child that she is supposed to 'nurture' and take care of in her own house on her wrongdoer's behalf. She is not even a little distressed about the idea, and expects that all the other people in the house act similarly and accept Madhu...but should it really be expected of Dutta, Kala, Leela and Roops that they smile and open their arms to her, when there's so much turmoil and hatred in their hearts related to this issue?

So either this is all a huge facade that AS has been keeping up and there will be a big reveal someday or it's just lazy characterization. I'm inclining to the latter.

I feel the CVs did a last minute switch from Dutta's bro to Dutta's sis....from Roops to madhu being Baaji's Love interest and hence, they might have slipped in these places
