Chapter 28

Naku and Arohi were looking at the guy who was evilly laughing and could not believe their ears. Naku looked Arohi and spoke with her eyes that they better find a way to escape, Arohi too agreed with that notion. Anna spoke up "So ladies after all this time we meet. Naku ji, I have had my eyes on you for a long time and Arohi ji, what can I say you are one of a kind." Both Arohi and Naku flinched disgustingly at him. "Now the fun can start with both of your husbands. Especially Dutta Sri Ram Patil uff Dutta Bhau, I have wanted to get back to him for such a long time. I have relationship which is old" He took out his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his face. The room was really warm and hot. "I want to settle old scores with him and what better way than to take away something so precious to him 'His Wife'." Anna smirked at Nakusha as he said that.

Naku with hatred in her eyes said "You made a very a big mistake by grabbing us. Whoever you are, Saab will make sure you pay for this." She said with a firm voice. "You pray to god that he does not find you, because if he does you will be dead." She said with warning in her voice. Anna quirked his eyebrow upwards and smirked at the feistiness of this little one. "You know you are little, but my you speak some big words." He came closer to her and whispered "If this is a challenge you are giving me Mrs Patil, then I accept. We will see who wins in the end." As he said he moved away and he laughed really loud. Naku gave him a look that said your days are over. Arohi who was feeling thirsty and not able to breathe was almost going to pass out. Nakusha noticed this and told Anna "Listen you already made a mistake of kidnapping us, but don't make another mistake by making Arohi suffer. If Saab and Arjun find this out I am sure that they will not spare you for putting a pregnant woman through this turmoil." Anna had laugh at this woman, she was one feisty little thing. Dutta sure has his hands full with this one he thought. Anna turned around back to one of his men and ordered him bring in a fan in the room. He looked at Naku with a smirk and said "I am only doing this because she is pregnant and I don't want her passing out so that I have to call a doctor."

Naku with a sickened face shook her head. They all the left room meanwhile, Naku turned to look at Arohi and asked "How are you feeling? Do you feel you are going to pass out?" Naku started to wipe the sweat of from Arohi's forehead with her duppata. Arohi gulped, and answered "No I am ok Naku. I just want them to find us and I am really worried about Sands'. I mean I saw her lying on the floor not moving when they were dragging us away." Arohi with a frightened look told Naku. Naku put her arm around Arohi's shoulder, calmed her down and said "Sands' is a strong girl, and I am sure she is fine. I mean by now they must have found her and I am sure that they are planning to rescue us out of here." She tried her best to convince Arohi, but deep inside her heart Naku was worried too.

Dutta was pacing in his living room with a frantic look on his face. He was angry to say the least that Anna the weasel had managed to grab Naku and Arohi within the presence of his guards. Arjun and Baaji were busy giving out instructions to the guards to let them know where to start with searching. Dutta sat on the couch, while his mother was praying to go god for the safety of her daughter-in-law and Arohi whom she loves like a daughter.

"Dutta do whatever you have to do, but I want you to bring home my bahu and beti home." AS told her son with a firm voice. Dutta nodded his head in an agreement and said "AS I promise you that I will not rest till they are both at home safe and sound." He got up and walked over to wear Babi was standing and balling her eyes out. "Mausi, why are you crying? I promise you nothing will happen to your daughter." Dutta told Naku's mother as he put both of his hands on her shoulder to reassure her. Babi unable to control her emotions let out all of the sorrow. Dutta again said "Mausi, Nakusha is your daughter, but she is Dutta Sri Ram Patil's wife and believe me when I tell you she is strong. She can take care of herself." Babi then spoke "Bhau I know she is strong, but what to do I am a mother after all and a mother worries for her child." She wiped her tears that had fallen from eyes. "When you become a father you will know what it feels like when your child is in trouble." Dutta sighed big and walked away, he knew that what mausi had said had had truth in it, because his mother never stops worrying about him. Baaji made his way towards Dutta and said "Bhau we are still looking at every lead that we have to locate Naku and Arohi, but so far we have come up empty hand." He told him with a frustrated voice. Dutta looked at Baaji and spoke "Baaji I know Anna, he likes to play the game of cat and mouse. He will call and tell us where he is holding them." Dutta with a determined look on his face looked at his mobile and saw that it had been almost 4 hours since they were taken. He prayed that they were ok. Sands' had gone to the hospital to bandage her wounds and also for the check up walked in. "Did you guys find out anything?" She asked Dutta as she stopped in front of him. Dutta shook his head in denial and asked her "What did the doctor's say?" Sands' with a smile on her face told him everything is fine, she has cuts and bruises all over her body. Nothing big that time and some medication won't heal. Arjun came up to her and hugged her and told her "Sands' you were supposed to go home and relax." Sands' with an exasperated tone said "No Arjun Bhai, I am fine. I am more worried about Arohi di. She is pregnant and in this condition." She started well up. "They should have taken me instead of her. This is my fault." She started to cry profusely. Baaji not able to see her cry spoke up "Look Sands' it is not your fault. This life that we lead, we know the risks there are to our loved ones." He came beside her took her hand and walked her towards the couch. "Anna is a leech, and we will find him. When we do he will pay for all the suffering he has caused you and others." He put his hand on her shoulder to give her the reassurance she needed. Dutta's phone rang and everyone got shocked, he picked up the call and answered "My wife and her friend better be all right. If one hair is missing out place from them, I will make you pay. Your generations to come will fear the name Dutta Patil. Do you understand me?" Anna on the other end let out a laugh and replied "You are threatening me over the phone? I mean I must say you have guts. I am holding your wife and your friend's wife captive and here you are threatening me." Anna told him as he paced the room. Dutta was getting restless and said "What do you want in exchange for the releases of Arohi and Naku." Anna with giddy in his voice said "Ah the saying is true abh aaya na uuth pahar ke niche. I want to meet and talk about the business. I had asked for a face to face meeting, but you had refused so now you have no choice." Dutta with anger asked him when and where. He hung up the phone and said "We are going to have a meeting with that leech and agree to whatever he wants so that we can bring Arohi and Naku home safe." He looked at Arjun and Baaji and they both nodded their heads in agreement. "Dutta when is the meeting?" Arjun asked him. "It is tomorrow at noon. He wants to have the meeting at the ship dock yards." Dutta replied him back. Baaji and Arjun decided to make the arrangements regarding the guards and rescue mission. Sands' was cuddled up on the couch beside AS said "I want to help Dutta Bhau." Dutta heard her call him Bhau he smiled and walked up to her and answered "The best help that you can give is to take care of yourself. I mean Arjun already has to worry about Arohi, and I don't think he wants to worry about you too." Sands' smiles and nods her head. AS smiles and looks at her son "Dutta you make sure nothing happens to any of my children." Dutta with determined face answered "I promise Aayi." He walks away towards his room to get things ready for the next day, but missed his wife. He then thought about what the guy had said that there is a woman who is helping Anna to bring harm to him. He wanted to find out who it was, but that is the matter he will deal with later. He stepped into his room expecting Naku to be in there, but she wasn't. He looked at her picture on the wall, walked up to it and put his hand on it and said "Nakusha you are my life, my soul and without you I am nothing. I will not let anything happen to you." He brought his face closer to the picture and kissed it.

[Scene shift to Naku and Arohi]

Naku on the other hand felt a kiss on her cheek, brought one of her hands up and touched it. She closed her eyes and started to remember her times with Dutta. How they first met, the intense dark look in his eyes and then she smiled at the way he was so caring towards her.

[Scene shifts back to Dutta's room]

He walks towards the window ledge and leans on it and remembers his time with Naku. He flashes back to the day he married her out of the blue. He laughs at that thought which was probably the most stupid thing he had ever done in his life. But if he had to do it all over again he would do it in a heartbeat, because that decision gave him his beloved Nakusha.

[Scene shifts back to the room where Naku and Arohi are]

Arohi remembers all her good times with her husband. She puts one of her hands on her stomach and caresses it. She remembers the first time they found out she was pregnant and how Arjun fainted. She smirks at that thought.

[Scene shifts to Arjun]

Arjun was smoking his cigarette, walking around in Dutta's foyer. He was having a flashback moment about Arohi. He remembers their first meeting and how she slapped him. He smirks at the thought and blows his smoke out. He then remembers Arohi's words about smoking 'Arjun if you ever lit up another smoke, I will bash your head up.' He butt's out the cigarette. He sits down and says "Arohi hang on baby, I am coming to get you and our baby."

[Scene shifts to Arohi and Naku]

Naku moves her body back a bit and rests her head on the wall. She closes her eyes and says "Dutta come quick. I miss you and I can't stay without you." She opens her eyes and looks at Arohi who was resting her head on the wall as well. Naku moves closer to Arohi and brings her head down to lays it on her lap. She softly runs her fingers through her hair. They both close their eyes and remembered the ones they love.
