Yeah,Anu that friendship is what kept Dutta human during those depressing 10 yrs and held him back from completely crossing over to the dark side.But what I worry is that super human patience & bottomless loyalty is required from Baji time & again which he has been providing but can he do that for eternity?I only hope that in trying to help Dutta hold on to sanity he has not crossed over to the other side.He doesn't have any AS or sisters to care for and be cared for in return.He doesn't have any Nakusha to share his happiness,pain fears and life with.He was told in clear terms by those people he considered his family members he is nothing more than hired help Dutta including who held a gun to his temple for not doing the job assigned to him properly. Will Dutta ever think of doing that to his family when they are caught? All this must weigh on Baji.He has been a prime example for friendship, love & loyalty so far but for how long?

@Zuby : I agree. Dutta and the patil khandan doesnt respect Baaji the way they shouldve. Because they all know that if not for Baaji , Dutta wouldve died long back in some tussle or the other. AS even mentioned that to Baaji that he and nakku are the sole protectors of Dutta.

Dutta I dont think will ever "respect" baaji, but he will/should respect their bond. He treats Baaji as a bro. He treats baaji so close to him that he doesnt think "baaji should be respected" . Its like he is talking to himself(his soul) and no one respects their soul, I mean one can trash their soul, as much as they want but doesnt expect that soul to hate back that person isnt it?. I hope Iam making sense 🤣. So Baaji is like that (a soul) to Dutta. He can mock, taunt, try to kill and do whatever he wants but then he understands very well that the soul(baaji) will not feel bad abt it, and understands his POV very well.

Superb! Yes u have put it so beautifully and concisely and here I've been talking so much gibberish in my long posts. But my point exactly.Dutta thinks the way u said but does Baji want to be thought of that way? Any human will expect a bit of love & respect for all their efforts.Its inherent human nature. But pls CVs don't let baji take out his grievances by being the BH. Dutta would never be able to take it he'll die.And so will all my forum friends😭

And he wasn't a proper Soldier. He wasn't in the action he was always in the background, he was the paperwork man. He deceived everyone from the beginning, making out he was a Good guy but really he wasnt he hated everyone. His soliloquies prove that.
Nothing drove him to do the stuff he did. He did it because he didn't like Othello. He didnt have a reason for being Evil he just was. Its hard for people to accept that he had no reason for the things he did because as humans we need some motive for every action. But the thing is Iago didnt need a motive for anything. When he is arrested at the end and it is demanded from him why he did the things he did he stays calm and quiet and gives no reason.
The man was a psychopath. A clever psychopath. He was amoral, had no conscience. He did the things he did because he wanted to do them. What better reason is there?

I originally wrote this post because I just wanted to think through Baji's role in Dutta's life, how, when, etc...to make sure that there could not be any surprises down the road. Not so that he can marry Roops.🤣

Dutta probably deserves all the credit due him in his rise to Don. Perhaps it was his inner rage at life that made him fierce and cold-blooded. But isn't it amazing how he ROSE UP so quickly through the ranks. HOW EASILY HE GOT HIS FIRST ASSIGNMENT.

I'm not proposing any conspiracy theory, at least not consciously😆, but if DUTTA had approached you for help making money, what would you have said. Remember he wanted to make money FAST. So why not robbery? Why not stealing and fencing (selling) the goods? He didn't want to build a career on it, so then Why MURDER, a HITMAN, why a DON?😕

Okay, too much thinking is never good for me.😆😆

@ Anu- I m with u for Duji completely!!! Baaji definitely shd not be BH..but this q of GP got me thinking..thanks to u guys..my mind is doing some thinking nowdays!! (LOL)..i could not think of a possibility where baaji could have been involved in dutta turning into a don..read my comments on GPs other thread on this one! I just hope CVs prove me wrong..i will be vry happy with that!!!
