Yes, watching Sethji count his pennies definitely touched Dutta - he was a lot older than Sethji when he bought Roops that gift, but Sethji was doing it at an age when he is not even earning his own money! I guess, for Dutta that sentiment was enough to have Sethji gift Nakusha the best gift for Rakhi! He has always loved his sisters unconditionally - and with all that he has and has always been the one to provide for everything they need and wish for - so for him, it was a natural instinct to get a gift on Sethji's behalf and make sure that he brought a smile on both their faces!

Of course, in this case, Nakusha was least expecting Sethji to give her anything, leave alone an expensive jewelry set! But Dutta's intentions stemmed from his own love for his sisters. He could feel exactly what Sethji was thinking! And, that is the reason why he gave his entire attention to Sethji's actions - before and after Nakusha entered and left that scene! And though he did take the opportunity to bring Nakusha a lovely gift, it was purely from the point of view of Sethji, until the gifts were returned (And, note that Nakusha used the same channel to return the gifts - Sethji, thus tacitly acknowledging the fact that although it was a Rakhi gift from Sethji to her, she did not want Dutta's involvement in helping her family in these matters. We don't really know if things would have been less hurtful had Kala not commented 😃). When the gifts came back to him, they BECAME his gifts to Nakusha by default and so that question came up, as DD has explained so well 😊

He just wanted to do the best for sethji.....he never wanted to show that "HE" was dng it for Naku....he was dng for a brother who wants to "dil se" give his sister some valuable gift during RB....and as I was discussing with Yuvika, dutta is a simple man who doesnt think in a complicated manner!....when Naku returns the gift, he just wanted to know how his gesture was different from the last time....he might have sourced the gift but if the deed was good, then why was he snubbed this time, and appreciated earlier!...he is trying to make things right for naku....do anything and everything for her without compromising her self respect and hurting her....and becuase his previous two attempts were shot down, he is confused....what did he do wrong....how can such deeds be classified as wrong??.....

ok coming back to Roops.... I wanna applaud creatives for turning naking her tink on those lines!!! finally Finally another beautiful relationship is ready to be explored in LTL! I always had this thought in the back of my head abt roops turning positive someday .. cause the gal was not "that" negative to begin with .. she was the smallest and was highly influenced by her elder sisters.. Creatives left this side of her open to be explored later...

the Actress surprised me too .. I never thought she would be able to bring out the innocence and required maturity so well .. aik hi epi main clean bold ker dia .. 😊 She wasn't extra ordinary but she translated Roops guilt and helplessness Very well..
