I was going to watch Boardwalk Empire as well. I want two episodes to go by so I don't just judge it on the pilot as sometimes the pilot is not enough.

I'm also waiting for 'The Event' to air.

Glee will be back today so I get to watch that tomorrow.

The Event already aired yesterday...i watched it...and I am looking forward to Glee as well...

It did. I forgot to check. That's means I could have watched it today. Drats I'll make time for it tomorrow.

I hate having to wait a whole day for it to get uploaded because US timings practically make it seems like a day apart.

I think Maggie Q plays the character well...but I dont find the dialogues very interesting though...they could be a bit more humorous...I actually like Michael and Alex better...It seemed to me like they have better chemistry...

OMG Huma you spoke my mind!

I had the exact same complaint that the dialogues are dry. They need spicing up to make it more witty and ease the darkness that is in the show.

Also totally agree with you about Michael and Alex. I'm sensing the chemistry there too. MN might have a history but so far I don't see the click - maybe as she keeps evading him and then mocking him about letting her go.

Alex seems like she is going to develop a huge crush on Micheal. I really liked that she said Thanks to him even after he was scolding her.

How good is it?

Can't u watch the Event online...I think it started out well...Its quite diff from Lost though...Lost focused a lot on their characters...especially their earlier seasons were character drive...but from the pilot, it seemed like The Even will focus more on the actual events that might happen...not a lot of character exploration there...It also has much more action...we have a violent situation on a plane, people getting shot and a plane almost crashing...they also show us flashbacks...but it also says how old the flashback is so its not confusing...

Is it just me but despite Maggie Q playing the character well and doing all her own stunts. I still has this disbelief that she is able to knock out all those burly men when she is like waffer thin. Seriously, it's a good job she does do the action sequences herself as I don't think they'd be able to find a stunt double as skinny as her. 😆

Sounds promising. I do hope it does become more character driven as that was what hooked me to Lost but the extra action sounds like a bonus. At least they are not going to baffle me with time travel as they are time stamping the flashbacks. It must be to help the audience map out the timeline of the incidents leading up to 'the event'.

I will watch it online as it's not starting here yet. Its just I have to wait til like 5 am my time for it to be uploaded so it feels like a day of waiting. But since it aired yesterday, it must be up by now.
