This wasnt part of my todays plan. I had no time to watch the episode so handed over my job of writing the update to Pooja and was just peeking at the daily discussion thread to get a gist of what happened in the episode and the moment I heard Baaji cried, I had to run to utube and watch the epi.
I always loved this show for DuJi more than TaSha. For me Friends are some one who u choose and I believe in it. Friends define who u are and I love Dutta more for choosing a friend like Baaji. When these two guys were introduced in this show, we got to see the grt bond they shared. It was nothing like a normal friendship.........it was something beyond words , or so I felt. The day Dutta was attacked on road when he was helping Nakku's family .......... Baaji just kind of pushes Dutta away and takes the bullet. That one scene got me hooked onto this show. Where do we see such selfless dosti?. If Baaji proved his friendship like that, Dutta made sure he is no less, so when the goons atttacked them at the hospital the first thing he does is go make sure Baaji is safe........The way he lifts Baaji on his shoulders when he himself was bleeding to death, was one scene that defines this so called "friendship" .....and thus started the journey of DuJi.
Today they added another sheen to their already glowing friendship. The way Baaji shed tears saying he means nothing to that family and the way Dutta sprouted from nowehere and made sure he explicitly puts his anger forth, was another great scene in this story. The moment Dutta showed the watch...........Baaji was sucked up into an emotional rollercoaster and he couldnt help but cry out loudđ. Man that did get me all emotional and I cried literally badđ. Srsly I was gonna end up in a big trouble if someone came into my office at that moment đ.
The moment Dutta started narrating the "watch" wala story, I knew exactly where it was going. I sensed that Baaji gave those 500/- and kept that watch.......... and did u notice that its after so many years........I mean its well over 10 yrs that Dutta finally told Baaji that he knew abt the "watch" wala kissa. Baaji didnt know that Dutta knew abt it all along............ Its only today he got to know. The guy couldnt control the surge of emotions that went past his heart..........he had to let it all outđ.
Dutta on the other hand didnt wipe the tears, didnt say any soothing word, nor gave him the much deserved Hug. He just kept watching his friend cry. But the truth as I saw, was that Dutta was crying doubly bad within his heart đ, to see his friend, his brother, his companion for years cry infront of himđ. He wanted to make sure that this friend of his never makes this mistake of detatching himself from the his family. He is part of the family, Baaji believes it or not, thats gonna be the truth. Dutta was assuring Baaji thru those emtional/sarcastic/hurtful words that "May be u think u arent part of this family, but for me u will always remain part of my life........... if not my life". I loved the look he gave right before he headed out, the slight smile of disblief . Dutta never imagined Baaji would feel that way. Sply since he never realised that Baaji was not part of the family. It never crossed his mind and he was shocked to see Baaji feel that way.
Vinay Rohra, for the first time in this soap got me all welled up. The scene belongs to DuJi and MR and VR rocked and rolledđđđ ....... They gave a new dimension to one of the most amazing relations in this world "Dosti"đł. Hatts off to the CVs for coming up with such an amazing scene to show the depth of DuJi's friendship. I would credit VR more in this scene, as he hardly gets his share of screen space to portray and impress us.............and when given a chance, Impress he did !!!đ
