- BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And he burns his hand AGAIN!?!?! LMAO! All Nakku has to do is LOOK at him and he goes all "deer-caught-in-the-head-lights" like! 🤣 And personally, I like that about him - this is so foreign to him, feeling this way that he doesn't know how to manage it. I refuse to believe that what he felt with Seema (infatuation) or Supriya (family coercion) was the same as what he feels for Nakku (*sigh*😍). So every time the feeling takes over him, he's just sort of caught by surprise. Make him angry and betray him and he'll be in full form. But find him a person he trusts and wants to care for - and that guy will be as lost as a fish out of water. *sigh* So freaking cute! THIS is the Dutta Nakku saw when everyone else say Dutta Bhao! *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* TOTALLY agree! Word for word! Seriously I find this so damn adorable about him too....that the awkardness and this 'fish out of water' feeling that is a result of his new feelings for Nakku makes him lose his footing a bit yet he never comes across as silly....it's just the right balance in my opinion....he doesn't become a sappy lovesick puppy but the slight change is there.....
- Haye... Dutta looks so HAPPY just to be in Nakku's presence! *sigh* So much that he's almost immediately over come with a desire to do something for her, to show that he cares. And what better way than to do something for her Bappa? So he looks around and comes up with the best suggestion he could. Let''s put lights all around..? - it wasn't so much a statement as a suggestion and one that he wanted her to approve. *sigh* And when Nakku expresses her suggestion of decorating with flowers instead, that was all he needed to hear to make sure that's what happened. Even after she offered to put up lights - he wouldn't have it! He was done forcing her into doing things he wanted. He was done assuming that what he wanted was what made her happy too. If she wanted flowers, she'd damn well have them! *sigh* I want one.. I really do.. Flowers nahi, Dutta! Although a Dutta holding flowers for me would do too.. 🤣 LMAO I'd love one too :P....jokes apart, I also loved how happy he looked in her presence....and honestly it's not like he just keeps staring at her constantly and doesn't do anything else....I found it seriously adorable how he started off awkwardly looking around at the decorations and suggesting putting the lights up around...to bring brightness....and Nakku understands what he's trying to do but smiles and suggests flowers...and he agrees....I loved this interplay b/w them...so subtly and so sweetly done
- Dutta reached for Nakku's arm and it bent resulting in the color spill?! THANK GOD for small logical mercies! Warna toh you could be reaching for their hair for all it matters but you'd still get that color spill! 🤣 By the way, I really want to know what he was stopping her for! What did he want to tell her/say to her?!?! I want to know!!!! I'd love to know too....but then I'm happy enough not knowing also....just that he reached for her is cute enough on it's own😆
- LOL!!! Dutta gets color spilled on him and for a moment there he's so baffled - jaise pata nahi kya ho gaya.. LOL! Nakku went all the way to dusting color off him and he was still looking around trying to figure out how this color got on him and why.. I am pretty sure he was analyzing what he did wrong that led to the color spill! 🤣 LMAO! I really do apologize but this scene just tickled my funny bone. It's just a cute little scene that shows me just how "new" this whole concept is for Dutta and that makes me so so so happy (it isn't familiar because he didn't feel this with Supriya or Seema! And if that isn't something that will make me giddy, then I don't know what will! 😆😍) Ditto Ditto *nods head in agreement*😆....you're just speaking my mind here....that scene amused me so much yet at the same time made me go aww at his cute awkwardness😆
- There was a whole lot of symbolism in the Nakku-spilling-on-Dutta scene. Nakku spills color on him and apologizes (for disrupting his "routine") but Dutta absolutely dismisses it - right away! Because it really is okay - and he knows that better than her. While she's ridden in guilt for having obstructed his normalcy - his blacks with her colors - he's grateful for her "intrusion" and the effect it's had on his life (and clothes). Finally, as a consolation she lets him know that at least the color of his kurta was dark enough (and maybe his routine was strong enough) that it won't get disrupted by a little bit of color (or her presence). She's constantly viewing her presence as a source of "disruption" in Dutta's life and he's seen her as a welcome change throughout.. I wonder if this speak to her guilt at hiding her truth from Dutta and his relief at having her around..? 🤔 Beautifully explained, Fivr.....I totally agree....this is what I felt while watching the scene as well except you explained it far better!
- "Kaley rang par koi aur rang jaldi nahi charhta..." - Nakku... Oye hoye dude! Did anyone else notice Dutta's micro-expression change and Nakku said that? Like all of a sudden he was thinking of her and HIS "rang" charh-ing on her?! *ahem* Oye! Get your mind out of the gutter! I was talking about his "pyaar wala rang"!!! 🤣 Like he was really thinking that Nakku's statement just showed that she isn't influenced easily and if she loves you she really, really loves you..? (Or if she doesn't love you, she won't pretend to for anything..?) I don't know if that was just me. Very well could be - but that's what I thought.. 😳 Yesss I noticed that shift of expression on his face as welllll! LOL....and I also wondered if he was thinking of HIS rang charhing on her since she spoke of how kaale rang pe koi rang jaldi nahin chadhta.....seriously the dialogues were so intelligently written in that scene!
- OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! From the moment Nakku laid eyes on Dutta, Dutta's eyes were fixed on Nakku too. Like he was drinking in the sight of her appreciating him and appreciate him she did! *sigh* I mean the only person he looked at was Nakku or he was looking ahead (for that split second when he was sort of looked straight ahead - I like to believe that's because he wanted to give her the benefit to look at him without being scrutinized by him!).. *sigh* ☺️
- "Kya main theik nahi lag raha..?" - Dutta.. *sigh* Do I even NEED to say anything else..? I mean really.. Do I? *sigh* I don't think I can be coherent at this point. This man has made me weak in the knees (if I was standing, I'd fall.. 😆) just by that one question. *sigh* He needs to know what Nakku thinks - her opinion is what matters to him the most. That's all he cares about. And that reminded me so drastically of that "gift shop" scene where he bought her that blue dupatta. At that point she'd turned to him, so see how she looked in his eyes. And today he did the same with her - he wanted to see what she thought of him because that's the only approval he needs for this dress.. *sigh*
- OH. MY. GOD. OMG! I loved how he told her k kisi ne rang dal diya toh acha hi hoga. Like he was telling her he's okay to "rang" in her "rang" if she (being as black cannot get "colored" easily) won't be able too. Like he was telling her that he'd be willing to walk the extra distance. *sigh* Or maybe I am just reading too much into it.. But *sigh* I can help it. My brain's been turned to mush. 😆😍
- Alright.. coming to the controversial dress-change. I was speaking with Anu about it earlier so I am just going to paste what I said to her and hopefully that will suffice... 😆 I know that his dress wasn't the best combination there could be - in fact I'd go so far as to say that it just sufficed. But I don't think the point of this blazer-shirt combo was to make him look like a stud in another style. This really was to show Dutta's attempt at being "better" for his wife - his Nakku. The man has been out of practice and out of style for 10 years! He hasn't worn something like this since Seema. I liked the natural aspect of his clumsy get up. Not all of us know how to dress like super models right off the bat. It takes years of practice and experience. He tried to "look good" for his wife using his limited and aged fashion sense and it was just for her! I mean come on, the kurtas he wears are greats but they are all gray/black/navy blue shades. It doesn't take rocket science to wear a fully assembled kurta set. He tried. He worked at it. He might not have taken our breath away with his fashion sense but I'd be more annoyed if he looked like a rock star in his first attempt at jeans and blazers - and this is strictly from a character point of view. To me, his clumsy color combination just showed how much of an effort he put in and how it's been a while for him (which it has!). Totallllllllllllllllly agree....I'm sounding like a broken record now😆....but you already know my views on this as well.....same to same reactions!😆
- Wait.. What did she say?? That he didn't look good in black?!? SERIOUSLY?!?! What Dutta's she been looking at? Because the one I've been looking at looks mighty fine in black, if I do say so myself! *dreamy muh* AS has to get her eyes tested😛😆
- OMG! Did anyone else notices Dutta's slight tilt of head at his mother's "black color" comment? Like he knew that Nakku would take it as a "comment" on her own skin color and he was just showing his dislike for the comment. And trying to tell her "Really..? It doesn't suit me?!" - trying to tell her that in his opinion it really did! *sigh* LOL I noticed that head tilt as well....although I took it to be as him also expressing disbelief at being told that black doesn't suit him...not just in terms of Nakku...but otherwise in clothes as well😆😆
- *sigh* I don't know if I can explain that last-glance scene. I really don't know. I can try, but I don't know how it will sound. *sigh* Almost every conversation (except for the one in his bedroom) Dutta's had with Nakku has been under the scrutiny of the public eye. Even now, when he came down he just asked her how he looked and then he went on to speak with Baji. So once they'd decided to leave, he turns to go - BUT! How can he leave without "communicating" with Nakku first. He couldn't very well come out and say "I'm leaving! See ya when I get home!" - THAT has never been a Dutta-Nakku thing. These two have full fledged silent conversations right under their family's nose, so why should this be any different. He stops midway and she waits for him, he turns towards her ever-so-slightly and she understands his "communication" - letting her know that his leave would be quite temporary and that he'd be back soon AND his hesitation at having to leave her and walk away. Like he was trying to tell her that he'd back - just as much her as he was trying to tell himself that it was okay to step out for a bit; convince himself that it's okay to step away from her... and gather up whatever "courage" he needed to, to do that.. *sigh* OR I could just be reading too much into this too.. 😆 LOL you already know how much I love this bit😆....and I dunno if you're reading too much into it but I loved the way they shot that scene....he pauses....she's looking at him...he senses it and then half turns to glance at her...but still not fully....just from under his eyes a bit....and she knows he's looking and instantly drops her gaze....(a half smile from here would have been PERFECT....but oh well...lol) and he turns and walks away...I dunno why I just lovedddd this moment....don't even know what it was fully meant to mean....but I just loved it😆
