I know they are in competition with DMG though so GC has to give tough competition to KSG.
They replay the same exercise scene over and over with new dialogues in the voice over. 😆

I am getting tired of the eye-locks. They are always in each other's face. If he gave her some room to breathe she might be able to get out a sentence once in a while.

The best parts are when they are fighting and it has that comic touch to it.

@Huma: How is the Larsson book coming along? How far have you read up to?

I have read the first 2 books of the triology...they r good reads...I think u said u had heard of some disturbing scenes in the movie...there r a couple of scenes about men abusing females in the book...but they did not seem that horrible...or maybe its just that I read a lot of books with tragic plots...

@Huma: It doesn't appear like Indian Cinema is very stringent about abiding to Intellectual Property Laws so copy right cases are hardly an issue for them.

@Priya: Kareena was good huh.
I loved the US version, it is a really touching story, Susan Sarandon is perfect as the mom and Julia was okay as the step-mom but SS makes that movie.

I watch B-town movies too even if they rip offs but I usually realise whilst watching it that is been heavily inspired by some other film. Like 'Jab We Met' - was very similar to 'Elizabethtown' with Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. The only difference they brought in was Geet's dilemma with running away to be with her BF. That part was all new.

    He is. I'm 100% sure he'll stand by her. He'll just be distraught that she is in that situation. He'll want to make the guy pay but she'll probably hold off on telling him its Dev's child, if she discovers they are brothers before she gets to talk to Maan.

    hmm...I remember warner bros suing some Indian producers for....i think the movie's name was hurri putter which sounded similar to harry potter...and they copied Elizabethtown..😲...I didnt think it was that great of a movie...

    Priya JWM is better because of the songs and Geet's character was more funny. In the Holly version the girl helps the guy better himself and recover from his business failure, like Geet inspires Aditya to become sucessful. But then Aditya returns the favour by helping Geet reunite with her family.

    In the Holly version, its mainly about Orlando. He needs a friend and she becomes one. She helps him heal after his father's death and he falls in love with her in the process.

    I liked JWM more as the second half of the movie is the changed part.
