Yes Ishy and do you know Sajid Khan's Housefull was the exact copy of the Tamil film Kadhala Kadhala and the role of Akshay was done by Kamal Hassan and Ritesh's role was done by Prabhu Deva.. I always thought it was a shame that so many Indian movies -- from Jagini to others to this very day--are just copies, and many times bad ones, of Hollywood movies. I'm not too familiar with Tamil or Telugu movies so I could not comment in relation to these. Originality is something that perhaps would not do too well in India. But I do hope in the coming years, we see more of it. There is such a rich tradition of story-telling, of relationships, of culture...but I guess people prefer to see the crap from the other parts of the world instead, color-corrected and with dance items of course!🤣.
