Zuby, much of what you say is so true.

I think we all have become trained LTL fans. We have a very good grasp of the characters, their "image", their "weaknesses", their experiences in the romance department, etc.
And the show is all about the characters, hence, all the subtleties make sense. They are subtle people. Passionate in their thoughts and feelings, but reserved to the people around them. So I agree, it would be really odd -- an eye-brain disconnect 😆 😆 -- if we saw anything but subtlety. And even once married, I think we'd love to see romance, more passionate, more intense. I don't think any of us would argue with that. 😆 😆 But it can't be the cliche stuff from other serials--
the CLUTSY CUTIE: girl trips/falls/is caught by "hero"
the MONSOON: hurricane force winds, rains drench the girl, hero looks on lustily, hug, dancing optional
the GUSSA: girl/guy get into argument, girl walks away, guy grabs at her, and they stare, and stare, and stare...and get this close...and someone interrupts
the PROPER GIRL: on SR, the girl shies away...think "OMG, what is the my husband doing?" looks away, runs to other side of room, then the other side of the room, etc.

Something that fits the personality of the characters will do just fine. 😃

Great topic to discuss..

one way that LTL is different from other serials is its character development.. when supriya track was on, many felt that it was dragging..but every scene contributed to the characterization of dutta and nakku..even dutta's feeling of love has happened at the right time.. if it had happened much before we would not have appreciated it at all.. it would have lost the essence as in many other serials...

lets not forget that whatever the twists the CVs have bought till now have left an deep impact on us because they were introduced at the right time.. same goes with the face revelation.. we may be restless to see it happen soon.. but when it happens it has to have the same impact on us as with the other twists... and i am sure CVs will do complete justice to it...

because of the character development of dutta and nakku over the time, we are in complete awe of every small scene between them and how dutta is expressing his love.. they have to just look at each other to make us feel excited...

the actors have made us fall in love with dutta and nakku and we too undergo every single emotion they feel.. this sort of connection will only happen over the time..
i am sure they will develop these characters on the same lines and will never over do anything just to garner TRPs..

as long as they do it we will always be connected to them and the romance and love between them will always be fresh and we will never get tired or bored of them...

Interesting topic Crystal. Time and again we have had ppl coming to this forum questioning the slow pace of the show. When will Naku be unveiled and when will romance happen etc etc. While I agree the pace is sometimes really slow but I disagree that there is no romance in the show. Infact the romance in the show started from the moment TaSha met. In terms of physical contact/romantic dialouges nothing much may have happened when you compare it to few other trip-catch-stare shows but when we see in terms of growth in characters and relationships a lot has happened. Also the beauty of the romance of this show lies in its subtlety. The leads dont need to touch make feel the chemistry.
