For some bizarre reason, actually I know what it is, I cannot come to terms with having a pet. I like other people's pets, but like to keep my distance. I'm terrified of cats (the eyes, the teeth, the claws--it's a primordial thing, I think).

Dogs, I'm slowly coming around to. They're so sweet. But I don't know...I just can't bring myself to even think of getting a pet. It's the whole cleanliness, fleas thing. I know it's very cold of me.
