Next morning the shrill ring of the phone awakens Ishy from her deep sleep. It is her boss Mr Feroz Dabba Batliwala on the phone . "Isee Beta.. Can you come to office today please? We have a new vice president who is taking over and I would like you to meet him ." Ishy cant say anything . She likes Mr Dabba Batliwala who is old and more a father figure . She reluctantly agrees and rushes to get ready to leave for work.

She gets into the lift and the door is about to close when she hears someone dashing towards the lift and who else but Mishal should enter the lift ? He glances at Ishy, looks away. Ishy is disappointed.😔 The next moment he looks her way again.. and there is that beautiful smile😊 '" Hey its you . Sorry .. I was so preoccupied , it took time to gather my thoughts. Hi again" he says and extends his hand. Ishy grabs his hand and holds on to it . Mishal gives her a smile and looks down and Ishy lets go of his hand in embarrassment 😳 😳

They reach the car park and Mishal gets into the car that's waiting for him and zooms off .

Ishy reaches office and there is Mr Feroz (check spelling ) waiting for her . He grabs her by the hand and takes her to the conference room to introduce her to the new Vice President .

Ishy.. this is Mr Vishal Raheja, Mr Batliwalas voice booms. Ishy who is lost in thoughts of Mishal gets a jolt. Did she hear right ? Did he say Mishal? "Ishy ." . she says and extends her hand . The handsome man at the other end of the table extends his hand too '" Vishal Raheja ". Ishy breathes a sigh of relief- thank God his name is not Mishal!!

The rest of the day is busy .. Ishy is assigned to show Mr Raheja around the office and get him familiarized with the company. By the end of the day , Ishy is ready to drop.

Next day is Sunday and Ishy is determined not to let anyone or anything disturb her . The shrill ring of the telephone sounds like something from far away and she picks up the cushions and covers her ears hoping the ringing sound would stop. She glances at the bed side clock. It reads 11.30 . She wishes for the telephone to stop ringing. Finally it stops but the next moment it is replaced by the door bell . She drags herself to the door , and with the safety chain firmly in place, she peeps through the little gap available.. and gasps' there is Mishal at the door ' looking absolutely smashing in blue shorts and a light blue t shirt . Ishy has to hold on to the furniture to keep herself from falling down ' and tries to cover herself ' "HI its me" Mishal says .. I got your number from the security. But since you didn't answer the phone, I thought I would come over personally. I am famished. Thought I would go for brunch somewhere. Like to join me ?? Ishy holds on to the chair tighter and stares at Mishal open mouthed . "well' he prompts, "be ready in 30 mts "

Ishy runs inside and tries to get dressed in record breaking time. Her fingers are numb, her heart beats so fast it feels it would pop out. Finally she is all showered and gelled and smelling great. She takes particular care with her eyes ' when she is through at last , she has a look at herself and pats herself on the back '. Ishy baby you are looking gorgeous today".

Just as she is wondering if she should knock at his door , he opens the door and comes out . Oh Lord, not that smile again. I will die' thinks Ishy🤢🤢. No she doesn't die and they leave for a restaurant named 13^th floor on MG road, which offers a varied brunch.

The spread at the brunch is awesome. But Ishy is so health conscious, she counts the calories before she serves anything on the plate. Turns out Mishal is also the same and they both spend time going to each counter and discussing the pros and cons of that particular dish.

Meantime, some diners have noticed Mishal . They aren't too sure if it is him and feel that he should be left alone to enjoy his brunch..

Mishal and Ishy finally fill their plates and retire to a corner table . They talk on all things under the sun. time flies by. Ishy is on cloud nine . Suddenly Mishals' phone rings. He gives an exasperated sigh, and then after speaking on the phone , looks at Ishy and says .. Party over Ishy. I need to fly down to Mumbai immediately 😔."

They drive back home . At the door Mishal wishes Ishy a warm goodbye and takes leave of her.
