Found reason for abrupt epi on Wednesday

I was very angry that Wednesday's episode was all messed up. So I found a person who works for Colors and sent a message as to why the channel did not air the entire episode. Here is what the person replied back:

This is not only the case with LTL, two more shows had this problem. This is basically, coz the channel has become a little stringent ever since it slipped to number three slot in the GEC.

Since, then channel has rejected quite a number of scripts from various shows. Sometimes the production house cannot reshoot the sequence in the stipulated period due to 11th hour cancellation. Hence, the channel is left with no option but to retelecast the episode with slight moderations. I hope this helps.

In conclusion, Colors is mad that they are no longer ruling the ratings chart and so the channel is messing with all their shows. 😡 So I guess they weren't happy with the epi that was to be aired on Wednesday but they aired it on Thursday. I don't understand that part.😕
I'm just glad they did not edit the song sequence. 😃

I remember some time back there was similar news of Bhagyavidhata too where they didnt have a bank due to the same reason. Anyways whatever was shown on Thursday was great. I loved the Thu epi and it made up for the short epi on Wed. Btw I guess Colors can breathe a sigh of relief...they are again neck to neck with SP again. This week they had 5 shows in top 10.

Thanks for going through the trouble to find out Keva! Lack of episodes banks has always been an issue in this industry. I'm sure this isn't the last time we've seen something like this. But I'd rather Color focus on quality than just hurl "full" episodes at up. I for one am okay with Colors being stringent as long as it means that episodes like today and yesterday (quality wise) are produced!

Strange Keva, The ptomo with the song was on air .. so i dont get why there was no episode ready.. infact they have shot the scenes on saturday and sunday...

anyways im glad that now we have someone from the channel to contact ... could u pls send the link of that thread to him/her? The need to know!!

thanks for finding Keva.......i dnt understand these Color's people.......they didn't air the epi on wednesday........as they were not happy with it.......but they aired the same epi on thursday.......whats wrong with them.........morever how could they be disatisfied with such a enthralling epi............

let them be stringent.. but i can't understand why they have to be strict with the good shows?? i don't think the episode was reshot as we had seen the song sequence as the precap.. or did they change something after this song? as it is LTL is doing well.. why the interference?
I can name many other serials in which lot of things can be changed or could have been reshot..
when they take such decisions do they take into account the viewer's opinion??

Let them bring back LTL on Fridays, promote it well as other shows and maybe move one popular serial to 9pm slot.. this is not against any show.. but because of poor TRPs for 9pm slot LTL can' t suffer and LTL has been good for the channel and is among the top 4 serials of the channel..

if they manage it well, i am sure they will be in the top 1 slot and beat SP...

if they can accept their victory then they should also accept their failure..if their ratings have gone dow nthen there must be sumthing wrong with their decisions!!. 😡
and maybe the other channels have improved and are giving quality shows...this is no excuse!!they are insane!!!

and y have the ratings gone down???they give so much importance to BV though the track is pathetic at the moment!!the 5 yr leap is ok..but the story is stale now!! then y show repeat tele ??CDD and uttaran are also focussed...and LTL is given least importance dunno y...they are dushmans of LTL...

it was a technical error ..doing such things wont help..it adds to the bad remarks from ppl..ye kar ke they have put a tthappa that they are unable to handle such good shows!!

I think, Colors didn't alter the track or interfere with the storyline in any way...it was just that they wanted the Thursday epi to end where it did and keep the audience in suspense wrt Dutta's decision! At least, I think so! The production house might have organized the 2 episodes in a different way...and had to re-edit them on the channel's insistence!

thats what , it was indeed a technical error and for covering up their mistakes they are blaming producers indirectly.. i remember once LTL was short of episodes but handled it by introducing an emergency track. infact we had several articles on that also .. such things never hide!

so ur friend might not be aware of The REAl thing, as Channel ppl are TOO smart when it comes to hiding their own mistakes.

Its hight time now colors Should Start giving importance to the Deserving and promising one MORE! for GOD sake LTL has been in the TOP ten since 2 weeks back to back !! n that too with absolutely no serious promotion... They will soon see an improvement in their GRPS.
