Only the extreme situations of life or death seem to do anything for Dutta. With Seema - his killing spree started. With Sups it was her supposed death that sent him raging. Jagtap's death will give a positive twist with him reconsidering his current emo phase. So keeping with the trend the same will hold true for when realization finally dawns upon him about what Naku is to him. In the face of death - which makes me think Naku will definitely get into Aana's hands or something close enough. More then separation realization - as in her in the city and him in his mansion - her in the worst place imaginable for him would give him the reality check he needs.
