GEC Watch: Colors gains- Article

With 356 GRPs, STAR Plus continues to be the No. 1 channel among Hindi GECs. It commands a 26 per cent relative share in Week 29. Colors, at No. 2, has 291 GRPs and a relative share of 21 per cent.

Zee follows, with a share of 19 per cent and 252 GRPs; while at No. 4, Sony has 135 GRPs and a relative share of 10 per cent. Both Zee and Sony have witnessed a dip in GRPs in the latest week.
SAB has maintained its share at 7 per cent. It is followed by Imagine, which has garnered 6 per cent share. STAR One is at No. 7, and has recorded a share of 5 per cent. Sahara One, DD1 and STAR Utsav have garnered 2 per cent share each.

In Week 29, Uttaran on Colors has emerged as the most watched show, garnering a high TVR of 8.3. Zee's Pavitra Rishta is at No. 2, with a TVR of 6.5. STAR Plus' Pratigya is at No. 3 and has garnered a TVR of 5. IIFA Awards on STAR Plus, and Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors, have a TVR of 4.9 each.

The other shows among the top 10 most watched ones are: Na Aana Is Des Laado, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Balika Vadhu, Jhansi Ki Rani and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli.

I too hope it's roughly consistent. But on a weekly basis, so much is going on other shows, networks/channels, so LTL performance always varies. But amazingly and deservingly, it has stayed in the top 4 COLORS shows consistently.

I'm a lil confused! These ratings are for the last week, right? Last week as in 19-22 july? Or, are these from the week before last? For that was the week LTL garnered the highest ratings till date (beating YRKKH and all)! If these ratings are indeed from the last week, then 🥳
