Not that posting them above may help but thought nonetheless lol - essentially the lyrics are about how the person singing the song is reflecting on his past and regretting his choices. He is questioning why he chose to do what all he did. Why he chose to take a certain direction in life - one that was painful and fills him with regret-remorse.
