Was Dutta scared of death because of Naku?

I'll take a leaf out of GP's book and post a few questions. My question is was Dutta really scared for Naku during the gunfight and even before that when Janardhan's(head goonda) attention focused on Naku as he thought she is Dutta's dil ki rani? Yes I am sure he was scared for his family too as one wrong move and someone else could have died. But it was really Naku who was in max danger apart from Baji and Dutta. She was the one who was interfering and thus Dutta had to scream at her to shut her up. Even later she came down after him and she was exposed to bullets during the gun fight and one of them could have hit her. So when Dutta said he was scared for the first time is it actually more on Naku's account and rather than his family or atleast equally scared for her?

He was equally concerned for her...I think! Why wouldn't he be? Under his deliberately harsh exterior, the erstwhile affection is still very much there! And it had to surface at a time of danger...And now AFTER the mandir scene it has totally taken over him! He's completely overwhelmed by Naku's inherent goodness and her love...that's why he's feeling so guilty! Even though there's no proof, he's already convinced in his heart of hearts of Naku's innocence...

Yeah he was scared...but I was wondering if THIS played a part in Dutta's decision too. I might be clutching at straws...Dutta might not even realize how scared he was for her. But Naku living as his wife would mean exposing her to danger time and again. As she unlike his family members isnt used to his gangster life and jumps into danger head first.

I don't think he wants Naku to leave him becoz of the danger involved in his life! To tell you the truth, I feel Dutta is being slightly escapist here! He cannot torture Naku anymore or remain angry with her! He's overwhelmed by her emotions, but the option of accepting her as his wife (in the true sense of the term) he's not considering at the moment( for different reasons)! So what would be the equation between the two of them now? He's feeling guilty( coz he might have punished the girl for nothing) and confused( about what to make of her and the entire marriage-fiasco)! So, the best thing for him would be to keep her away from himself! This way (he thinks) he would be at peace and Naku would be spared a humiliating existence!

I cudnt dare to watch the episode twice...but did Dutta ask Naku to go away? Or did he ask now say the relationship is over?

dutta was definitely scared for her..while dutta was at gun point,all the other family members were still in the mandur while dutta nakku and baji were heading towards the car..so it was like all the family members were safe(at that point)..but for the dupatta scene he had to take a lot of risk..risk to nakkus life..he has not yet realised y he was scared..it was very much bcoz of nakku..nut just that he cant decipher that he cares for her..
whle the shoot out,dutta was very much aware that nakku was with him that is y he instantly caught hold of nakku to protect her...
from my POV dutta doesnt care abt his life..he knows that in this dhanda his life will always be in danger..moreover the family was safe in the mandir ..the only person unsafe was nakku...he didnt realize y he got scared but we knw that he feared nakku getting hurt...

He didn't explicitly ask her to go away...he just said that he's setting her free! But you must have noticed Naku staring at her green tin suitcase! I think it was more or less clear that they'll have to move out...

Yes..the epi was heart-rending...kept haunting me for hours!

I agree Nazia...even I feel he was more scared of Naku getting hurt rather than his family.

Yes they wud have to move out if Naku or Dutta have to move on. She obviously cant go back to living in the outhouse as the maid. That would be pretty awkward. No wonder AS came over to give the message that the family is perfectly fine with Dutta's decision so its goodbye Naku!

As I pointed out in KBT earlier, I feel he was very much scared for Nakku and no one else. Everyone was safe and it was only Nakku who dared to enter the gun battle and he was pretty scared over that fact. Nakku aint gonna leave him alone , he understands that well. He knows that she will go to any extent for his love ( even if he doesnt beleive in her love). He very well saw how badly she loves him. He understands that Nakku will not let him fight his battles alone and will always end up in trouble for him. So he had to let her go....

Also to answer ur another Q, he didnt ask her to leave but he said that they have to end that relationship. So obviously that means she has to leave. He still considers her dhokebaaz. He doesnt believe that she is innocent completely and he cant let her stay as before......afterall they got married, how can she live in the same house as his maid?. Will ppl believe in her now after all that happened? Nope right. so she has to leave the mansion for now.......

Also the way she looked at Dutta's room, it was like bidding farewell.......
