We met his family members. About eight persons that are dependent on him. I understand his family, especially his mother, needs to be supported by the son. My husband is the eldest son of his family and we too supported the rest as good as we could. But since some of the other siblings have finished their studies, got a job and so on, they help out too. It doesn't depend entirely on us anymore.
And now let's take a look at Dutta's family:
- three sisters, all grown up (but lazy)
- two brothers in law, one is unemployed but at least takes care of his son. The other ... we met him later because he was away for ... for what? A bussiness trip? Are you kidding me? All he does is take Duttas money and give himself in to his Dolce Vita (cheating on his wife and spending money. Money he hasn't earned).
And what about the children? Where are they all the time? Yes, it could have something to do with the budget of the show. But they're hardly ever mentioned.
Kala's pregnancy- I'm pretty sure- was nothing but calculated by her. She only interacts with the boy when she needs it. Patting his head here and there or almost throwing him off the balcony to blackmail her husband.
Now, while Kala's son has at least a wonderful father, Leela's daughter seems to be all by herself, that poor girl. Her mother spends the whole day in Kala's room or trailing behind Naku and/or Babi teasing them. And Sudarshan is Sudarshan, enough said. These have to be the worst parents I've seen (not really, but I won't go too deep into that now).
Sorry again for my ranting. But I sometimes wish I could grab them all by the shoulders- one by one- to shake them and put some sense in their heads. They're such leechers, sucking on Dutta's energy and money. Stressing him instead of supporting him.
And they's such lousy, terrible parents. Am I really the only one that always wonders where the kids are?
