EPISODE 14

SCENE 1

The day dawned and everyone was ready to go back to their home.Baji moved swiftly and ordered the servants around to tuck the bags in the cars and to prepare a light breakfast for everyone.Everyone assembles outside the farmhouse to occupy the seats.Kala notices that Dutta is constantly looking at Naku and immediately knows whats on his mind.Before baji could instruct everyone to sit in the assigned cars,Kala says with a smile,"Mujhe Dutta ke saath baithna hai...kuch zaruri baat karni hsi.."Dutta,who was looking at Naku,suddenly wakes up and says hastily,"Haan taayi kyun nahi..chal meri waali gaadi mein baith ja."Everyone gets seated in the cars.

SCENE 2

As the journey starts,so does Kala's evil plans.Dutta asks Kala curiously,"Kya baat hai taayi...tune mere saath baithna ka mann banaya...kya zaruri baat karni hai tujhe??"Kala takes a deep breath and says,"Main Naku ki shaadi karwana chahti hu..acche gharane mein...aur ladke ke parivaar ko bhi janti hu main..."Dutta looks stunned as if someone just banged his head.Unable to believe her taayi's words,he asks slowly,"Par taayi...Naku ki umr hi kya hai...nahi nahi taayi...abhi shaadi.."Kala prods on.."Kyun nahi Dutta...woh hamari zimedaari hai...Aayi SahIb ne vachan diya hai Babi Kaaki ko....aur phir..."She adds intentionally and pointedly,"Ladke waalon ka parivaar accha hai...woh sharif log hai..Dutta naku iss rishte se khush hogi...ladka ek bade business man ka beta hai..Naku ki zindagi sawar jaayegi,..koi bhi dukh ya takleef nahi hogi..."Dutta closes her eyes as one part of his heart says,"Nhai Dutta...yeh shaadi matt hone de..keh de taayi se ki tu Naku ka haath thamega...tu pyaar karne laga hai Naku se...but his mind says,"Haan keh de Dutta...Taayi keh rahi hai ladka accha hai toh acha hoga..Naku ne bahut dukh dekhe hai..aur tujhse shaadi karke uska dukh kum nahi hoga..kitne din saath dega..bol...teri jaan ka koi thikana nahi...tere jaane ke baad kya hoga Naku ka..Nahi..agar tu Naku ki khushi chahta hai toh shaadi hone de.."Dutta opens his eyes,which are now rock solid and says,"Theek hai Taayi Jaisa ti kahe..bula le kal hi unhe.."Kala looks out of the window,her mind in the sea of happiness.

SCENE 3

When they reach home,Kala asks everyone except Dutta and Naku to gather in the hall.When everyone arrive,she announces,"Main aaj aap sabko kuch zaruri baat batana chahti hu....mere dimag mein yeh baat tab se aayi jab babi kaaki ne Naku ki dukhbhari kahani sunai..main khud Naku ka rishta karwana chahti hu...balki maine ladke walon se baat bhi karungi...agar AAyi Sahib aur Babi kaaki ijazat de toh..",she turns her face towards Aayi sahib who nods her head in consent.Babi,her eyes filled with tears comes towards Kala,with her hands folded and says,"Aapka bahut bahut shukriya....aap log rishta dhundhege toh woh meri Naku ke liye bahut accha hi hoga.."Kala smiles at everyone and says,"Toh theek hai...main Naku ke rishte ki baat karti hu....kal hi ladke waalon ko bula leti hu...Aur dekhna Aayi Sahib,hamari Naku itni pyaari hai ki yeh rishta har haal mein hoke hi rahega...".

SCENE 4

Babi enters her room with tears of happiness in her eyes.Naku,seeing her mother's wet eyes rushes up to her and asks,her voice heavy with concern,"Aayi...kya hua..tu ro kaye ko rahi hai...bata na Aayi..kisi ne tere se kuch kaha kya..??"Before Bbabi could reply to Naku's questions,Kala enters from behind and says,"Batao na Kaaki...Naku ko bhi ki kal use dekhne ke liye ladke aa rahe hai..."Naku freezes midway and looks up at Kala,her lovely eyes full of panic.She sputters,"Kya...mujhe dekhne...meri shaadi..taayi yeh aap kya bol rahi ho.."Kala glances Babi and says softly,"Kaaki tu jakar Bappa ke mandir mein Prasad chadha de...main Naku se baat karna chahti hu..."Babi wipes off her tears and patting Naku's head lovingly,she leaves the room.Kala watches her leave and then turns her gaze towards Naku.Her smile replaces a poisonous grin and she says,"Kyu Naku...itni hairaan kyu reh gayi...tujhe kya laga...main tera bhavishya ki chinta nahi karti...ek baat samajh le ladki...kal jo rishta ayega...uske liye haan honi chahiye teri taraf se...hamari bezzati karne ki koshish bhi matt karna..warna woh haal karungi jo jeevan bhar bhul nahi paayegi..."Naku is still shocked by the news and stands like a statue.Suddenly babi enters the room and noticing her,Kala changes her tone and says,"Tere liye acchi se acchi aur sundar se sundar saariyan kamre mein aaj raat ko bhijwa dungi..jo pasand aaye..pehen lena...hum sab chahte hain ki kal hamari Naku chand ka tukda lage...hmm.."Saying so,she leaves the room with a triumphant smile.

She sends in the sarees and Naku has to choose one to wear tomorrow...all of them are really beautiful and complements her...so she is very much confused and so is Babi.Help them (and me too!!)guys...!!Select the best one and vote!!!The one with most votes will be worn by our Naku when the ladke waale come to see her...Here is the list...HAPPY VOTING!!!!
