i think baaji did the right thing from his POV.for him datta comes first so obviously anyone who is hurting or betraying datta will make him go against them.that is their friendship.
he knows naku from only few months whereas datta & his sisters he knows from many yrs so if kala frames naku he will obviously believe kala.
how can ganpat be so harsh on his own daughter.well i think all that matters to him is his daaru.

I saw the episode....whatever Baji believed of Naku but one thing is there he was almost in tears when Naku was leaving and was trying to control himself.
