Nahi yaar, they cannot "verify" whose fault it was so I don't think they'll pay. I just went ahead and got it done. I can afford this over two pay checks so it's fine. The 1900 I could not afford. Freaking money-hogger! He was charging me $47/hour for labor and he wanted to keep the car for 6 freaking days! This guy said he's charge me $600 flat and get the car to me in 4 days but even if he can't it won't change the price. And that guy wanted to buy new parts for the car. This one was like why would I need new parts? I can repair this!

Men are jerks! For the most part! Aik maar k bhag jata hai, dosra lagi hui car sey paise banata hai! Jerks jerks jerks!! 😡

BTW, Once when I had my car parked in a shopping center, some one came and hit it from behind and didnt leave a note with his details, when I came back from shopping, I found my car in a mess....I called my insurance, and they paid me back...thay just wanted a police complaint lodged...the cops refused to do tht as there was noone whom they can catch....no eye witness and nothing....so, the insurance ppl went ahead with my case without the police complaint......there was no way to verify but thats how it is....did u call up ur insurance guy and ask him?

and I too have gone thru various mechanics to get my car fixed.....seriosuly many of these jerks really fleece u but I take atleast 3 quotes before I decide what needs to be done.......

oh! BTW, after this incident when my car had gone for repair...the insurance even paid for my rental car...I have tht in my coverage!!

I guess.. But I don't want my dad to have to "pay" more for insurance because of this. It was his car too and he isn't even here. He has all the insurance paperwork and I didn't want to have to hassle him with it. You know how dad's get at the mere mention of "accident" and "money". *sigh* I guess this can be a gift - I mean I know the money's a lot but the lack of paper trail for my dad to deal with is something I guess it's worth. I just feel like he's too far away to do anything and that's going to mess up his entire trip.

Dad hi ki toh car thie. We drove over to airport in his van - he got out at the entrance because I didn't want him walking a lot. He has arthritis in his feet so I hate to make him walk. Anyways, I dropped him off and took his car to park aur wahan ye karnama ho gaya.. *sigh* If he knew he'd me so worried - about the accident-aspect of it and the money-aspect of it too. So I figured I should just stay quiet and pay up..

LOL!! Usney Sudarshan ki haadi pasli toor di thie kiyoun k woh Dutta ka "cake" chura raha tha! Gari mar di Dutta ki - ye sun k toh Nakku kacha hi kha jaye gi!
