Dutta is a smart guy and I think he knew that Supriya was not telling him the truth and he somehow has guessed the relationship with the BG!!

Dutta has been portrayed as a very strong character so it just doesn't gel with how he has been acting lately with Sups. Regarding Sups-Ravi; we all know Dutta has numerous times given Sups the chance to back out of this marriage. Although I don't watch this show regularly but I remember Nakku giving a letter to Dutta to pass on to Sups, I believe that letter had something about Sups and Ravi but then again I am not sure because I didn't watch the next few episodes. Dutta always seemed to be observing Sups, in a way analyzing her and I don't know maybe comparing the similarities between Sups and Seema.

After seeing the precap, I kind of want to go back to my original stance that Dutta is quite an intelligent guy and he indeed knew abt Sups-Ravi's love story . He tried hard , but Sups didnt tell him the truth, instead started behaving as if she loves him. Dutta had to somehow get her to speak the truth, best way was to follow their path, make them believe that he indeed fell in their trap........ And thats what he did , he ACTED as if he fell for Sups, so that he can catch them red-handedly.
